Swine Promise
Thorn bush strands eloquently braided within aramid and nylon
Blood begins to slightly trickle down my wrists
I am silenced by rag
Demanded not to speak
Ordered not to enjoy my grounding nature

paralyzed to the point of paralysis
I claw at these claustrophobic corners
shredding paint
waiting for the tremors to subside
shaken by the presence of absence
corridor screams the fragmented chanting of this desolate swamp land

Blindfold laced with chamomile
Her restraint fashions silent acceptance
Sweet metallic scent begins to contaminate the air
I reach only for a taste
This night is not mine

I can remember the first fire
Underneath the viaduct
It was solid concrete
Old school
Freight train ready
The paper, branch and earth lay intertwine
Intermingled
Delicately flirting with each other in a one night stand
anticipating the end
as if they could feel
This will be they're last night
The spark from the Zippo flint lit up the entire city cave
As the flame decided to take part in my
