POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
"God makes some men poets. Some He makes kings, some beggars.”
Ponderance
Tricky tacky Trembles a most dubious return,
I rest my nightmare(d) eyes
consumed as carcass dinner course menu number two.
the quake of my chest lethargic.
swarmed Bees escape my throat,
are my guts grotesque enough to rake across the buffet?
I lash out as Jaw muscles tense;
tentacles wrapping this inexcusable familiar.
silver spoons clank fine China,
"ALL ABOARD" trainmen call
but my mind's in the kitchen railing Dinah.
the closing of car doors
signifies another evenings end,
I jeopardize my existence ...

Ideas of Marie salts the wound and hangs me on a meat hook in the shed out to cure
Maul me
underneath masquerades of moons stiff to howl!
refract classic horror creaking's under the well dressed marquees brass brights,
suspense bottled, fermented, bathed in blood tubs naked and relished.
Ate up the charcoal soot night you called me drunk,
repetition because I'm a selfish son of a bitch;
broken playlist painkiller pretender.
in the ruckus of gravel I drop my mind in the parking lot,
shattering gourmet goodwill store glass guts across the ground.
Rip tide,
pretend I fought every second yet succumbed. ...

When she spurts her brine but your the shadow of a dream in their works hallway stairwell corridor on a Saturday evening
I could erase everything I had written
but my ideas would default the same.
my tongue has a palate for sickness
and it's scripted in the thought of your name.

Kicking holes in virtual drywall
Caught in a sink strainer
half way between poured and fucked
figment of my imagination
sloped sediment in the garbage
hammer Germany as cubed steak
27% speak 2 or more languages and you did so sweet
diced up Japan
she drank tecate because she went through a Spanish phase
sprinkle on Russia
I raise an eyebrow at simple fiction that wrought my mind
gunfire I blindly ran towards
remnants of a comfort I coddle in my head

Incineration of one's skies: Word in a sentence in my mind that was never really there
Severed tendons trying to cut my slice of heaven.
grace me with her God poison,
stench of poverty.
grit those molars,
stardust.
malignant,
graffiti over this American pervert;
watch them piss in the backyard like a flock of sheep.
empty fear by the wheelbarrows,
is it still pleasure; steel padlocked windows?
life reeks of caged Deja vu
spectators peeking up
from cracked concrete snapshots;
sneaker level view.
violate me with everything you can throw.
virtual swim up bars
still...

Hearts as falling regimes
Violent crowds take war to the streets
dismembering corrupt officials,
burning government buildings,
tearing down statues erected.
at some point construction begins
but with what bricks to lay this foundation ?

Room 4033- flash of a parents death on the horizon
same 4th floor
not the penthouse
in front of the nurses station
a Dr's retort
hanging cloth draped Christ valet
park my car for three dollars will ya?
hallway lights were dinner plates
saucers
minus the meatloaf
my mother had grown from an indestructible biker with a 38 special
kicking in your door for the drug money you owed
to a weak old frail lady in a constant cough
spiderweb silver hair
she reminded me on the way home
from the hospital how our cousin Pandy 4 years prior ...

Collected pages of a fraying mind
Don't we clean up nice?
---------------------------------------
frozen backyard
baulderdash
lights flash from the ridge
oil drip in the driveway
kitchens painted seafoam green just as the trim on the neighbors garden shed
on a view from sink windows
cigarette stains trickle on the ceiling
on the walls
from previous tenants
-------------------------------------------------
when glicking was all the rage
---------------------------------------------
anointed cypress tree ...

Highway grotto
Acoustics
reminiscent
of a hydroplane rodeo
that sent me crashing into you

Voices from the Kiln
It's the morning routine of burning relished familiar bridges
staring through drowned fires of a thousand regrets.
dead waters rising,
swam into disappointed eyes and faces of everyone I ever let down
across the river.
mistakes mold me to who I am.

I took my door off the hinges
l. The screwdriver- obsession/it was worn, birthed with tired scuffed entrails, a transparent yellow filament handle// off brand. curious, at the ripe age of thirty I find myself curator of a selfish museum officiating prized collections of moments and phrases dedicated to you. faces ornate and distinct you've chosen to wear, model, vogue. adorned in macabre to satisfy succulence on flashing screens; such I've grown fat and ripe. sweltering 4000 watt runway electrocutioner, dripped, melting skin, exposing my tongue left to devour fashion truly to die for; bittersweet morsels, encapsulated,...

Cage the flora and fauna :i can still feel them crawling under my skin
Enshrined on a pedestal of particular stature
glint shining glimmer wroughted iron souvenir I keep as mine
coo coo a pine warbler eats seed as feathers rattle in easternly defense
is it with nesting we've grown comfortable
stick and twigs and twats and pricks
a cursed ringing in my left ear
smashing in my heart that sounds like hate hunkered in a corner
lashing out at an ever sprawling metro world
picking auburn pine needles out from our rested trousers
slashing blue sky clouds taking shape of melatonin aviaries
can I...
