POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I've been writing poetry from a young age, I write from the heart, It's the only place I've got to write from.
Stop To Gaze Up At The Moon
I stop to gaze up at the moon
And listen to its somber tune
Hum to me a quiet note
As in the air it softly floats
I watch the note fall down the stars
Watch it trickle bars and bars
Finally to me it reached
To stop and sit a while to preach
To tell me tales of moonlit nights
Boast itself a star of bright
Tell of travels through the sky
Coming down the belt Ori
Seems to us a paradise
On Camelopardalis
Though it seems unfair to us
He...

The Final Hoorah
As I sit
Drunk with emotion
The thought of losing you unbearable
Even to the point of well deserved tears
That I once forced back
But today
And tomorow
And the day after that
I lose a good teacher
A great friend
I struggle to find that moment of silence
A moment of my time
But I'm not quite ready to give it up
Drunk with emotion
The thought of losing you unbearable
Even to the point of well deserved tears
That I once forced back
But today
And tomorow
And the day after that
I lose a good teacher
A great friend
I struggle to find that moment of silence
A moment of my time
But I'm not quite ready to give it up

On the subject of Failure
As one falls
They learn to stand
Learn through failure
And repremand
There has never been man
Without defeat
Experienced sailors
Don'tsail smooth seas
They learn to stand
Learn through failure
And repremand
There has never been man
Without defeat
Experienced sailors
Don'tsail smooth seas

The Peacock
Spread thy beautiful mast
Show the sea of color that arises from thee
May they praise your beauty,
And admire your grace
Humor me please
With one small question
Although for you, songs they will sing
Are you not a chicken,
with colorful wings?
Show the sea of color that arises from thee
May they praise your beauty,
And admire your grace
Humor me please
With one small question
Although for you, songs they will sing
Are you not a chicken,
with colorful wings?

On the subject of beauty
Beautyeludes
Distrurbs our dreams
Haunts our sleep
Theyve waged great wars
In the name of one
They've given their lives
For the love of Helen
Beauty destroys
Love rebuilds
But can the two
Be paired together?
If man dies for love
And kills for beauty
Where can one survive?
Distrurbs our dreams
Haunts our sleep
Theyve waged great wars
In the name of one
They've given their lives
For the love of Helen
Beauty destroys
Love rebuilds
But can the two
Be paired together?
If man dies for love
And kills for beauty
Where can one survive?

Birth/Death
Screams
Arise steadily
Lights shine through
Eyes adjust slowly
Too bright
Stay
Light won’t stop
Curious feelings arise
Crawl towards the light
White hands greeting me
First breath
Last breath
Arise steadily
Lights shine through
Eyes adjust slowly
Too bright
Stay
Light won’t stop
Curious feelings arise
Crawl towards the light
White hands greeting me
First breath
Last breath

Bright Flecks of Moon
The moon shines bright flecks
The loud snores of silence rise from the streets
Drowning out the steps of solitary feet
Directionless traveler
A specter to the world
Lamp lights shine upon concrete unfurled
Thoughts grow unbearable
Shadows dance and yell
Granite blocks crack
Cement melts away
Light flickers under foot
Flames reach up
Grabbing at his wrists
He struggles first
But the flames still persist
He gives out a final yell
As he's pulled away at last
The concrete reforms
As though all had passed
The silence...
The loud snores of silence rise from the streets
Drowning out the steps of solitary feet
Directionless traveler
A specter to the world
Lamp lights shine upon concrete unfurled
Thoughts grow unbearable
Shadows dance and yell
Granite blocks crack
Cement melts away
Light flickers under foot
Flames reach up
Grabbing at his wrists
He struggles first
But the flames still persist
He gives out a final yell
As he's pulled away at last
The concrete reforms
As though all had passed

Waves On The Shore
Waves crashed on the shore
The day we first met
What was it for?
That I so regret
My life now a hollow
Empty nutshell
Heartbeats drowned out
By personal hell
But I still see your face
Wherever I go
I stare at reflections
Of you, and I know
My ears can be cut off
And my heart always sore
But I'll still hear the sound
Of waves on the shore
The day we first met
What was it for?
That I so regret
My life now a hollow
Empty nutshell
Heartbeats drowned out
By personal hell
But I still see your face
Wherever I go
I stare at reflections
Of you, and I know
My ears can be cut off
And my heart always sore
But I'll still hear the sound
Of waves on the shore

What Did Happen To The Days of Old
Thedays of old
Havelong been gone
Andmore forgotten by some
Butin your life
Yousoon may find
Avoice singing songs unsung
Openyour ears and soon may hear
Awisdom, great and old
Forthis my dear
I dohold near
Ourstories of days of old
Havelong been gone
Andmore forgotten by some
Butin your life
Yousoon may find
Avoice singing songs unsung
Openyour ears and soon may hear
Awisdom, great and old
Forthis my dear
I dohold near
Ourstories of days of old

Vision
What is the value
Of man who sees
But can not appreciate
The importance of sight
Of man who sees
But can not appreciate
The importance of sight
