My hero
He’s tall & handsome,
wisened by the years
with irises of dusky blue
filled with care that sees through
My insecurities then wordlessly
calms my darkest fears.
His hands are strong & wide
My heart to guard inside.
His soul is kind,
Strengthened with
intelligence of mind.
Passion flows deep as his eye
With a soul to reach
and span the breach
washed deep by errors of the past.
My hero takes me—body, heart, soul
with him the lonely becomes whole.
I’m Home in midnight dreams
Close...
