Octopus
I wish I was an octopus,
Endowed with chromatopores,
Could have changed my colour and shape at will,
Be it in the land of fair or be it land of dark,
Nobody would have questioned my color and appearance,
I would have been accepted by all,
I would have no identity of my own,
But would have escaped profiling and discrimination,
I wish I was like an octopus,
Endowed with chromatopores,
Could have changed my colour and shape at will.

Letter From Lord Phobetor
Its past midnight, I lay in bed, still wide awake,
I struggle but can't go to sleep,
An uneasy feeling deep down in my heart,
Pricks like a thorn from inside,
The room is now damp and cold,
The air turned stale and now begin to stench,
I reach for the bedside switch, to turn on the lights,
But to my dismay it didn't light up,
I scramble to the window,to let some fresh air in,
Damn! It's jammed, I can't open it,
Struggling in dark I reach for the door,
Turn the knob, oh no! It broke!
The door won't open I am locked inside,
Try to push...

The Curse Of Hypnos
I have travelled to strange lands,
Met strange people and heard even stranger tales,
Of Headless Horseman and Vampires,
Of howling Lycans and unearthly Knights and Squires,
Never did a tale enchant me more,
Of the ancient ruins and mysteries that it had for me in store,
When I was young and full of life,
In search of adventure,
I travelled far and wide,
One such adventure that I recollect,
I met a mad man who claimed he had seen,
Old Gods meet in the darkest nights, Somewhere near the ancient city's ruins,
People laughed at his rambles,...

The Construction Labourer
He moulds dreams in concrete and steel,
Sometimes in marble and exotic granites,
But irony of fate when he reaches home at night,
Earth becomes his cosy bed,
And open sky becomes his roof.
(To all the homeless labourers who toil hard all day long to build our dream homes yet they do not have any home to return and shelter them)

Secret Garden
Red roses that I planted,
In the corner of my garden,
Blooms in full magnificence and grace
Nurtured by the decaying remains,
Of my unfaithful love buried deep underneath.
In the corner of my garden,
Blooms in full magnificence and grace
Nurtured by the decaying remains,
Of my unfaithful love buried deep underneath.

Decadance
From dust, life came forth,
To dust it shall return again,
Mortal form is destined to rust,
Burn to ash and turn to dust,
Life is like blink of an eye,
All mortals must one day die,
Death brings to us peace,
Blesses us with eternal bliss,
Life is but a momentary presence,
Doomed to meet decadence,
Cosmic truth is difficult to perceive,
An idea beyond mortal minds to conceive,
Good or evil, darkness or light,
No one can escape Death's sight,
Planets will die and fiery stars will become cold,
All that was born someday, are fated to...

Where Art Thou My Child
I was in a deep slumber,
When you came into my world,
I didn't even woke up,
When you bade me goodbye,
Now when I have regained my senses,
And search for you like mad,
I came to know that you went to sleep,
Never again to wake,
Sleeping in peace,
Covered in the blanket of earth.
(A melancholy of every Mother in this world who couldn't see her new born baby alive even for a single moment)

Suicide Note
Hate the crimson river,
That courses through my veins,
Slit my wrists to let it flow,
Out of me forever.
That courses through my veins,
Slit my wrists to let it flow,
Out of me forever.

Welcome To Hell
The night put on its darkest cloak,
Heavens opened their flood gates,
Lightening tonight stuck in the same place twice,
Sounds of thunder is tearing the heavens apart,
The dreaded moment is knocking at the door,
In my bed lies the wretched terror, Voices begin to whisper inside my brains,
I cry out loud as I can't bear this pain,
I pray the morn to come soon and end this torment of mine,
Oh! How much I long to see the warm and bright sun shine,
But the night of terror drags slowly,
Seemingly never ending,
Fear slowly creeps into my soul,

Wedding Day
In the morning she waited for me,
Outside the church,
Dressed in her white wedding gown,
Holding a bouquet of red roses in hand,
In the evening she came,
All dressed in black,
To bid me farewell and lay the white roses,
Upon my final resting place

Strange Encounter With Lt. Abigail Sinclair
I sat on the desk of the office of "The Morgue of St. Agnes Hospital", My work shift began and the night slowly dragged on,
Eagerly I waited for the morn,
It was around 1 AM, when I heard footsteps in the corridor,
I got up and looked to see who was there,
I saw a svelte lady officer, with fair complexion and dark hair,
She smiled at me and said, "Mr. Anderson, I need access to the morgue"
I scrambled to find the keys of the room and led the lady inside the morgue,
She thanked me with another enchanting smile and asked the keys for locker 13, ...
