Mortality
I tried to hold on to sands of time,
But it slipped out right through my fingers,
I tried to hold on to the river of memories,
But it swiftly flowed out of my hand,
I tried to keep the flower of love alive,
But to my dismay it withered away,
I tried to capture the gentle breeze of good days,
Never knew that I couldn't capture it,
I tried to hold on to your mortal form,
Alas! It turned to dust and ashes got blown away,
One day we shall meet our maker,
May be sooner, may be late,
We may dream and aspire to be immortal,
But mortality remains as...

My Wish
I wish to watch the whole world burn,
Dream to sit beside the fire,
Laughing and still holding the burning matchstick,
That I used to start it all without any reason,
Cause, I wish to watch the whole world burn.

Wasted Love
The bouquet lies in the corner of the room,
Crushed petals of rose lies scattered everywhere,
A trail of blood leads to the bathroom,
In the pool of blood lies my love,
It wouldn't have ended this way,
If we had listened to each other,
If we had trusted and not fought,
But now she's gone, I have no reason to live,
I lie down by my love's side,
Kissing her lips and letting out my final breath.

The Fall
Why have we turned so cruel?
Where have our love been lost?
Everyday we kill our own brothers,
The ones we had loved the most,
Peace have become a costly commodity,
Values and ethics are considered an oddity,
Life now has no value at all,
Why aren't we bothered at our fall?
Why have we shed last bit of humanity?
Why are we so fixated with this destructive insanity?
Destroying the world making it worse,
Yet hearts remain devoid of any regret or remorse,
God created man in his own image,
But we kill, ravage, destroy and damage,
I pity on...
Where have our love been lost?
Everyday we kill our own brothers,
The ones we had loved the most,

Why Did You Choose To Kill Me?
Today I lie, helpless on this death bed,
Unable to tell how much I want to survive,
God! If there was a way for me to resurrect,
Somehow I could again be alive,
I faintly remember, the ill fated day,
When my life had become nothing but an ash tray,
I can't recollect or recount,
How many days and night had passed,
For how many seasons on this bed I lied,
I remember the day, when my senses came at last,
I was so happy but soon to my aghast,
I couldn't blink my eyes,
I couldn't move my limbs,
I tried to shout but couldn't open my mouth, ...
Unable to tell how much I want to survive,

Final Speech
Few days & nights, all that I have,
As I prepare my journey to the grave,
Last arrangements I have to make,
The very last things I do for my own sake,
Soon I will bid this mortal world goodbye,
Death will put me to sleep with her sweet lullaby,
Heaven or hell, I care not where my soul will rest,
An outcome of how I passed my life's test,
I do not crave for heaven's salvation, Nor am I afraid of hell's damnation, Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,
Mortal world is fated to rust,
I came to this world, from the dust, And when I die, ...

The Dilemma Of Choice
Standing on the edge of mountain,
Staring at the deep dark abyss infront of me,
Thoughts like torrential river rush in my mind,
What do I do now?
Jump off the edge or pull myself back?
Life now offers nothing,
The thrill seems to be gone somewhere,
Maybe, lost in the corridors of despair,
Death seems to be a better proposition,
A choice that could make things better, If not in this life, be it thereafter,
So, what do I do now?
Here I stand on the edge of the cliff, Still asking myself,
Do I jump off the edge or pull myself back?

Ode To Darkness
Sometimes I wonder what came first,
Is it the pervasive darkness or eternal light?
If Eve had not eaten the forbidden fruit,
How could have tree of knowledge in mankind sprout?
If Prometheus had not brought fire to man,
How could we have dreamed to reach the heaven?
Darkness of night reveals stars to our mortal sight,
The ones we can't see in the broad daylight,
Darkness is the true path of knowledge,
The only way from ignorance that ourselves we can salvage,
If Lucifer had won the battle against the Lord,
Whom we would have called Devil...
