Awakening
I belong in the
spring.
The awakening after
winter's deep slumber.

Jealousy: blessing or a curse?
He woke up next to a small paddle of blood with a small pocketknife in his left hand. He was left handed and proud of it. He often boasted about his creativity. But one thing he hated about himself was his jealous nature. Here’s the story of a man whom we will name poor old Jack, or just plain Jack.
Poor old Jack was neither poor nor old, just a little too much of anything. A little too passionate and a true romantic at heart but he never showed it. An artist of sorts so every little thing moved him. Or should I say every little thing moved him to anger and thus he produced art. So...

This is the sweet I want to try
pointing at the lips
he leaned closer and kissed them.

It's your day tomorrow
and I have nothing.
well, there's nothing left to be written.
you are, were and always will be.
my ampersand.
to my Dearest 22/2

I am flame and you're the
water that calms me.
I am a flame and you
-instead of oil - are the
water that calms me down
into non - existence.

almost afraid to breathe
you can't wake up perfection

I'm the villain stealing from
the poor and needy

you're not you
If writing is renaming
then you're no longer you,
nor Dearest. You're a bird
that comes and goes.
A wind unworthy of a name
cause you're larger than

and the waves
this is who i am: a second hand book
at a charity shop waiting to be picked up.
yet i know better than claim my identity
in words and words like poet.
i take my place in pages that haven't
been filled yet; in the spaces that
haven't been thought of yet;
yes, the ones who distinguish one word
from another.

i'd like to keep you in my memory
just as you were

Seashell hunting
Balancing in the sand
while seashell hunting.
That's my summer ending.

Not a bitch
either black or white
rarely grey and never pink.
sometimes smokey red or -
