Sweet red wine, dark as blood
as you poor the cup shall flood.

Sickly sweet in taste and scent
once you've poured, you can't relent

Take it to her on a tray
watch as night conquers day

her eyes light up when she sees the drink
quickly now, no time to think

she takes the cup and then she sips
the grotesque liquid against red lips

dark and cruel it suffogated
that horrid woman whom you hated

So have a drink
  a little taste
     It's delicious,I know ...

laughter soft and warm
like rain coming down
never taking form
soaking my gown
the sound splashes through my mind
this feeling I have is one of a kind
refreshed and free, I swear I could fly
the sound empties me of strife
almost upon the clouds I lie
distracted from my stressful life
her smile is kind and innocent
and from her there's a sweet-tart scent
like oranges and lemons, fruits not in season
