Fishing For Turds
Pondering reasons upon parable hill
Impromptu retention of a capitalist thrill
No excuses to fool you, swearing blind to the moon
as they digitally deluded you, with hyper cybernetic Asian bird flue
screaming “the end will come soon “
The hypnotic psychotic enslave and control
break you, rebuild you to be robotic in soul
Come tell me the future
Come tell me my fate
Oh gypsy lady with fingers of gold
and young eyes on a face growing old
with a look that knows it only to late
Chants of redemption...

Beneath the wing of a dragon
I am a dragon hunter
This is not strictly true
I am on a quest
to slay a dragon
yes, but this will be my first
My people and I
have lived in fear
of this cruel and dangerous beast
We scurry around at night
while it sleeps
and hide away by day
as it feasts on anything
stupid enough to roam
the daylight hours
I creep up while the dragon sleeps
impossible in its youth
by now old
it’s senses less
than...

Incandescent
A hidden fire
burns deep inside
an immense heat
that at present
is contained
insulted
by vast
and icy walls
the surface does pertain
A dim glow
at first
a sign of change
easy to ignore
or to deny
Those frozen walls
now resonate
and amplify
Brightness
warmth and sound
every eye and ear
are found
in magnitude
no frozen wasteland
can defy

No shiny new Mercedes
no fancy BMW
a beat up truck
or well worked van
honestly will do
No big house on the hill
No swanky penthouse suite for me
I’m more at home in my counsel flat
it’s where I’d rather be
No five star all inclusive’s
To be served on hand and toe
I’d rather live amongst the natives
go the places only locals know
I don’t need a pile of money
or a job that pays the earth
I don’t need a platinum card
to know what I am worth
I’ll spend my time with family ...
