THE CRAVING
She stood alone. Silent as the moon. Her heart racing, as the full horror began to sink in. How was it possible? Her eyes glazed. She couldn't move. Suddenly, she began to shake. Blood was everywhere. How could this have happened? Then she remembered. The midwife had said that "some women even eat raw meat."

cockroaches and mushrooms, grilled!
Bubbling expectancy
And trembling fear
The effects of the apocalypse
Were slowly drawing near
Dust clouds of fallout
Became the after scourge of man
Along with the destruction
Became the nucleus, of the nuclear plan
As peoples watched in terror
Eyeballs were melted out
Flesh dropped off their bones
They had no time to shout
Yet still fresh mushrooms grew
Destruction now, on auto-pilot
Press button technology
Supremacy, gains ill-got
There was no-one left around
To...

BLEAK STREET
A multitude of people pass me by
I can never look them in the eye
My heart is broken, my spirit is in distress
I have no job, money, or address
Most of the causes of my unhappiness
I smell, I need a shave
Yet there is nothing that I crave
I'm hungry, lonely and sad, a tear is shed
No-one will miss me, when I'm dead
As I lay forgotten, in my wormy bed
I think to myself, my thoughts are loud
People ignore me, I'm lost in the crowd
I beg, I plead, I'm in serious need
I'm given ten pesetas, in which to...

THE SNOW GIRL
Once upon a time
Many years ago
Lived a little girl
Who would only play in snow
She got very cold hands
And very cold feet
And very cold all over
Just walking down the street!

A TALE OF TWO CATS
All is silence not a peep
Like cat voyeurs, we watch them sleep
Dreaming away the hours
Of prowlings amongst spring flowers
The butterflies you chased after
Your cuteness and our laughter
As curious little noses
Sneezed at pollinated roses
And such innocence doth enchant
As a new born nephew, to his aunt
Tranquil, as a red sunset
Calm, as a storm unmet
As they sleepily awaken from their doze
A yawning purr and a lick of the nose
A stretch of claws, and how they mewed
A hungry demand, a...

IN REMEMBRANCE 1914-1918
Those brave heroes of the clogging mud
Weeping tears, then weeping blood
And whilst the silent mustard gas crept in
The soldiers shed their tears from within
There were those that simply died in their head
From the stark horror of the putrid dead
And the constant thud of mortar in mud
And the hopeless hope, that the shell was a dud
Lost in France, entrenched in war so unfair
Those voiceless thousands, died in total despair
Strangled screams of agony and utterings of awesome woe
How come the bullet so quick, and the...

THE SEA FAIRY
Her wings were an opaque blue
Camouflaged by the ocean, over which she flew
Like a mermaid, dancing under azure skies
As sunlight shimmered, over her opalescent thighs
Her hair had a beautiful golden sheen
And her emerald eyes, were a magical green
Her sensuous lips, were a lush ruby red
And her beauty was enough, to waken the dead
As a soft whispering zephyr blew
Over a tranquil ocean, of a turquoise hue
She began with a series of pirouettes
Accompanied by Aeolian Harps, and a beautiful sunset

HONEYSUCKLE
I like to kiss you
upon your lips
upon your lips so sweet
to taste your delicious nectar
when tender lips do meet
my ever encircling tongue
savours a taste of sweet delight
I love you for infinity
and adore your taste tonight
upon your lips
upon your lips so sweet
to taste your delicious nectar
when tender lips do meet
my ever encircling tongue
savours a taste of sweet delight
I love you for infinity
and adore your taste tonight
