A Message To Her Lover
I understand that what I did was wrong. I was mad, lonely, and terribly depressed. I'm awful at keeping relationships, I warned you about this. The distance is not something I can bear, so I sought replacement. What I found is that nothing can replace you. Because of my past experiences with my father and two spiteful rapists, my therapists blames my inability to stand up for myself and say no to anyone for anything. I have no self confidence and you were the only one that made me feel even slightly wanted, but now you're gone. And it's at huge possibility that you could be gone forever....

She Was...
Swarmed with voices and emotions,
she was the central hive.
Bees that buzz of a brighter future,
of happier times, of a happier girl.
Bending with the breeze,
she was the flower.
Petals left her fate, future, and feelings
up to chance.
Panicking from all the fright,
she was the victim.
Abusers stripped her of innocence,
happiness, and serenity.
Numbed from all the pain and strife,
she was the cadaver.
Razors and knives tear every inch
of porcelain skin to shreds.
Pouncing to obtain the reward,
she was...

Dear Lover
As I pick the petals of these flowers,
so many questions run through my head.
Does he love me?
Will he wait for me?
Am I worth it?
I can imagine the answer
to every single proposal,
but the petals leave my fate up to chance.
Tears distort the images of the nightmare
that has become reality
every night.
The horror of being so alone.
Dear lover, come home.
so many questions run through my head.
Does he love me?
Will he wait for me?
Am I worth it?
I can imagine the answer
to every single proposal,
but the petals leave my fate up to chance.
Tears distort the images of the nightmare

every night.
The horror of being so alone.
Dear lover, come home.

Overcoming Mountains
Pure randomness
with a stroke of good luck,
he crossed my path.
Love at first sight.
Those who don’t believe,
should really reconsider.
He opened my eyes to what
true perfection actually consisted of.
Over days, weeks, months,
we grew together as one.
Through all the ups and downs,
he stayed true; he kept me going.
He didn’t realized my tears
were tears laced with joy,
a joy I’ve never had before.
Through all the forces tearing us apart,
we stayed strong; we couldn’t be parted.
He was my perfect therapy.

The Couple
His hair, it leaks the unthinkable thoughts.
Her hair, it sweeps away the unthinkable thoughts.
His brain, it divulges the demons and monsters.
Her brain, it conspires against the monsters and demons.
His ears, they hear the worst of voices.
Her ears, they listen for his words.
His eyes, they can never unsee the horrible.
Her eyes, they look for every solution.
His smile, it fools all those around him.
Her smile, its there to comfort him.
His lips, they speak of pain and regret.

Behind Closed Doors
With the hint of alcohol on his breath,
he had given into his addiction.
Like a police officer, he barged in the door-
he had an arrest warrant.
She had woken from a nightmare
into the worst of nightmares.
She curled herself into a ball
as to make the impact less devastating.
But this time his hand was soft.
The bed was designed for two
and that could have been his excuse.
He laid his head on her shoulder
and felt her curves resemble the waves.
"I hate you when you're mean."
The words of a monster.
"Am I allowed...

Juliet Today
It's about time that I tell someone about a broken girl named Juliet. As an adolescent, this shell of a being started a new hobby. You see this hobby was dangerous and required long sleeves. Not only did these long sleeves cover self-inflicted wounds of despair, but bruises caused by Lord Capulet. Now Lord and Lady Capulet were breaking the sacred "til death do us part," so Lord Capulet turned to bottles and beating. Poor little Juliet was left to fend for herself and her loved ones. She lived in fear of disappointment, abandonment, solitude, and shame. Whenever she sought refuge...
