DARK POEM

Creature called the dark
A primal fear lurks within the night,
and doesn't show till the retreat of light.
Where demons stalk and spectres hide,
and people feel safer locked inside.
Where all sounds and noises are cause for alarm,
created by monsters that have intent to do harm.
It makes grown men crumble, makes children cry,
that shadow that moves in the corner of your eye.
Since the dawn of man, we have tried to hide from this witch.
Believing shes gone with the flick of a switch.
But she still surrounds you in your light tomb,
waiting patiently...
