With burning desire

His Words
Deep and soulful
So full of love
A voice this pure
Must be from heaven above
When he whispers he loves me
Softly in my ear
A feeling of rapture
Lets me know I have nothing to fear
I grasp onto his profession
And bury it deep into my heart
And hold him to the promise
That no one will ever tear us apart
The sweet seduction of his tender words
Is enough to make me close my eyes
Long enough for the moment to carry me away
Giving me the feeling I can fly

IF ONLY FOR A MOMENT
I knew coming into this, it wasn’t going to be easy.
But I decided you were worth the time
Then every time I looked into your eyes, saw your face, or heard your voice
I put that thought right out of my mind.
The quickening of my heartbeat
As we took our many chances
For clandestine meetings,
Secret phone calls and stolen glances
I can’t tell you how I made it through
All the days and nights we spent apart
It’s all just a big blur now
Other than the pain I felt in my heart
