LOVE POEM

What we have
The setting sun...
Our time draws near.
Time moves slowly..
My impatience clear.
My heart pounds...
I watch the screen.
I wait for your call..
For days it seems.
My heart wants you
So close and near.
My body desperately
Needs you here.
My mind often
travels to that day....
I can see your lips form
the words you say.
Where I can see that
smile I hear...
Feel your whispers
tickle at my ear..
But until that day
Shall be...
I wait for your words
Impatiently.
As they pass across...

Whose Fault??
Space..that final frontier
A place absent of you, my dear.
Always together....never apart.
I always finish .....what I start.
Your thoughts differ from mine,
You have no respect for time.
Lifetime invested with no return.
Dreams thrown in the fire to burn.
Always together...now always apart.
Time to jump start...reset my heart.
I guess the signs were alway there;
I ignored them..seemed so unaware.
The truth is I made no attempt to
mend it.
So I guess I made no attempt to
defend it.
So I guess as I try to assign...
A place absent of you, my dear.

Where You Belong
You wander a path unknown
and yet so clear.
A path so distant, so remote
but still near.
For distance and time
mean nothing here...
A place in my heart
for you my dear..
A place where all things
seems so true...
A place where all wants
and needs are you...
A place so absent of
heartache and pain.
A place where you come
when I call your name.
A place that you can
call your home...
A place where you will
always belong...
A place from which you
will never part..
It is your place..
It is my...
and yet so clear.
A path so distant, so remote
but still near.

Unbound
This heart is not into it...anymore.
No longer clinging to evermore.
No longer seeing it as before.
No longer waiting...a moment more.
New warmth is now embraced..
A new smile....a new face.
Not there just to fill a void or space..
But there to reside in her own space
Eyes are opened to a new view.
Now clearly seeing what is true.
So much time wasted with you.
My last best chance to start anew.
She sees me as I want to be.
Creates a drive deep within me;
Striving to be what she sees...
The man..the...
No longer clinging to evermore.
No longer seeing it as before.
No longer waiting...a moment more.

That's what you

So that's what I've done..
Are you happy hun?
Not so easy for a motha
like me.
To walk around so damn
quietly.
I have big mouth needs...
But have yielded to your pleas.
So I hope you are happy..
cuz I'm not.
Did as you said... I
stopped.
How much longer?
...don't know.
Won't promise..
....that's so.
Try to make it through
one more day.
That's all I'm fuckin
willing to say.
