Letting her loose
Yesterday blues

Touching her nose

Be There
Held mom's hand while she took her final breath.
Talked to brother for about three hours the night he left.
Sharing and thanking for all the experiences through the years.
Life's music goes on,
Alternating beats of
Happiness, sadness, friendship, loneliness,
Such a familiar dance.
After that last heart beat
As the music ends
And silence begin.
Such a familiar tune
On the one hand,
There is so little any of us can actually do
Each of us is only one of 7 billion
By definition, insignificant
But, on the...

When Death Comes
We are born
In a similar fashion
To a childhood full of dreams, joy, playful things
To a youth of energy, excitement
To a middle age of exploring, experiencing
To an elder, slowing, cautious
We die
In a similar fashion
Sometimes life slows before ending
Other times death appears quickly, unanticipated
Not much is known about here after
Some sense spirits, sharing common vibes
Others think life is dust to dust
Others depart
Leaving emptiness, shadows, voids
Haunting our daily voyages
What's life ...
In a similar fashion

I had a good day, I had a bad day, I'm so confused
What do you say man
You walk the line
You're lookin fine
You're drinkin wine
Can you spare some time
What do you say man
He sings the song
He plays that thing
He makes you sing
Give him coin for that swing

The bro has past away
The bro lyin beneath the spray
The bro showed us the way
Let him grieve, but not today

My friend just got the call

Lovely floral spray
Flowing to and fro
Bold blooms show today
Too soon death you'll know
A daily race from day to night
Yesterday's chances are long gone
Tomorrow's choices are out of sight
Today sing and dance with life's song
During youth act bold and wild
For life has a natural rhythm
Takes strength to raise a child
Wait and old age comes from livin
Do not wait or bid your time ...

Brothers
From the depths of my heart, come the words of a brother,
For our souls and minds are like those of no other.
Protecting each other was always a must,
Good times or bad, never losing our trust.
To be such close companions, always made me so proud,
Never scared to express feelings, our emotions spoke loud.
Whether on heaven or on earth, our souls are bound together,
Sharing that sacred bond, since brothers last forever
Now it's important to strive forward, and not live in regret,
Savor those memories, and never forget.

Cool wind has stopped blowing
Slowing without knowing
Peacefully, in silence
Trembling with defiance
Lonely and astray
Can't find our way
Hurting without speaking
Saying we're OK
Darkness does win
Coldness settles in
Waiting to lie still
Life's going downhill
Sorry we failed
No solution was found
Searched for another way
He's leaving us today
For Lasting Peace....
