What Does It Mean To Be A Man?
Men are males.
What is maleness?
The original male thing is sperm,
(The very first sperm, to be technical).
Sperm dies so that the ovum (female egg) can live.
Without that sperm dying, the ovum dies.
But by being penetrated by the sperm
The ovum becomes transformed into the zygote.
Males dying for the sake of the females -
That is the model presented by the sperm-ovum union,
Presented and, in effect, taught by it.
So when soldiers defend the homeland in war
Against an invading army,
(With some of them dying in the...

Mandela, Like Washington?
During the American Revolutionary War,
Washington turned to France,England's long time enemy.
But after the war was over
Washington sort of double-crossed France
By giving England everything they wanted
In the John Jay Treaty.
Tome Paine called him a "traitor to the revolution"
due to that move.
(That's why Washington retired after just 2 terms in office.)
How was Mandela similar?
During the Anti-Aparteid struggle Mandela turned to the Communists,
(especially Castro's Cuba) for arms, money,
the long-time enemies of the West...

The Arctic Winter of the Soul
The trees of the forest are covered with leaves
like people wearing clothes.
Then winter comes and the trees lose all their leaves.
They stand together, naked and defenseless,
Like the Jews during the Holocaust were stripped of all their clothing,
right before they were herded into the gas chambers to be murdered.
The snow falling silently on the stark tree branches
is a picture of the enactment of the Final Solution....

A Living Exclamation Point Of Flesh
An exclamation point is vertical.
Likewise with an erect penis.
An exclamation point is put at the end
Of a sentence to convey emphasis.
Likewise,when a penis goes from soft to hard,
from hanging down to standing upright,
It is emphasizing something!
Yes, an erection can be thought of
As a living exclamation point of flesh.
So what is the implicit sentence
That an erect penis belongs at the end of,
Punctuating it, so to speak?

The Body as a Garden of Eden
The brain is made up of two hemispheres:
The Left and the Right.
One deals with rationality,
The other with emotion,intuition.
One corresponds to the male, the other to the female.
If we can call them Adam and Eve figures,
Then the body that the brain dwells in
Can be thought of as a Garden of Eden.
Put another way, the Soul and Spirit dwell in the body
like Adam and Eve in Eden's Garden.
The various internal organs of the body, by extension
Are analogous to the flora, fauna in the ancient garden.
The four rivers run faintly...

The Bible Predicts that Man will Walk on the Moon, Travel to the Stars
Astronomy tells us that when the sun expands and overheats,
That will destroy all life on Earth.
We have something like two billion years
In which to colonize distant Space,
In order to survive as a species,
By escaping the sun's fiery demise.
Spaceships from Earth will have to travel many light years,
Colonizing habitable planets,
Turning them into clones (or semi-clones) of Mother Earth.
By so doing we'll discover that our destiny
Is to become the masters of the Milky Way Galaxy.
Is there any way we can...

God Disproves The Wisdom of This World
Being immortal, incorporeal, "God can not die," we are told.
But then God comes as a man to be nailed on a tree and die,
Disproving the wisdom of the world by doing the "impossible."
"God can not lie, " even the Bible says.
Yet He told Abraham He wanted him
To sacrifice his son on an altar,
Even though God had no intention
Of letting Issac die and be burned(Genesis ).
And "He speaks of things that are not
As though they were"(Hebrews ).
Thus He disproves the wisdom of the world,

The Temple of a Woman's Body
I come up behind her as she's doing the dishes.
I grab her arms, pinning them together behind her back,
Elbow to elbow.
She cooperates, knowing what comes next.
Its nothing new, I've done it a hundred times before.
Its a ritual we go thru every few nites.
"Who's in charge, me or you?"
She answers, "You are, you're the man."
My reply is, "No, you're in charge, my darling.
You're the woman, you'll always be in charge.
The purpose of a man is to serve a good woman, ...

The Age-Old Story of Life - Gestation
There's a deep drama, a sexual story
Being played out in the night sky.
The full moon plays the role of the ovum,
While the surrounding stars portray the pursuing sperm,
Closing in, ever so slowly, on the egg.
Then the night is replaced by day,
With the mid-morning sun occupying approximately
The same part of the sky that the moon,
Now absent,had earlier done.
It's as if the sun is the ovum/moon
After the penetrating sperm has
Transformed it into the zygote!
Yes, the age-old story of life, ...
Being played out in the night sky.

Circumcision And the Cross of Christ
Every Jewish male was required to be circumcised.
The foreskin of the male member was to be removed.
The penis was to be skinned.
Some blood was involved in this process.
If the Jews were to be circumcised,
Does this mean that God himself had to undergo
A kind of circumcision?
For the Israelites were to imitate God.
Didn't He tell them things like,
"Be Perfect even as I am Perfect"(Genesis 17.1).

That Bright Endless Day Called Eternity
The appearing of the sun represents
The start of each new day.
But the stars are suns, only more distant.
So the stars at night can collectively represent
The days of a whole lifetime.
The number of suns that preside
Over the average human life span,
Is matched in a single night
By the number of stars in the sky.
So a single night becomes a metaphor for a whole lifetime.
(The darkness of night symbolizes the spirit of evil in the world,
The spirit of ignorance and of exploitation.)
As night and its dim stars is replaced by...

The Sky Mother and Earth Child
The clouds above are milky white,
so I imagine them becoming mother's milk.
In turn the surrounding skies become
A vast transparent bosom,
Boundless breasts suspended in the heavens.
The spirit of maternity fills the air.
There is a natural feminity about a summer's day.
Oh feel the presence of the great Sky Mother.
Next, the surface of the Earth becomes as the face of a baby..
The lakes serve as the eyes of the Earth Child,
looking up hungrily at the warm whiteness on display above.
Finally, the skies release the...
