Soft Marches
I watched LGBTQIA+ march and I marched
When I could
A tight community loud enough to be understood
I watched the carriers march, demanding safer conditions
Nationwide, to show how bad it could be for Americans
I watch now as Hollywood uproots problems of compensation
The world rallies around the unity of their proclamation
And finally I March every time the nurses call
The group is always small
Two or three to represent all
Standing at the line again
While four hundred grease the cog
All complaining
It's not safe
The pay...

A doberman? How cute. I didn't notice. Will you be clipping his ears?'
We met at the pet store.
'No.' She looks perturbed.
'Good. I find that practice barbaric.'
Again. Confused, but pleased. We continue on.
A baby boy.
'That is so sweet.'
I say as we meet at my friend's home.
I ask of his sleep and watch as she changes him. Circumcized. Hm. Let's not continue speaking.
'Hello, my name is Chris, this is David, this is frank.'
His wife stands next to him with extended hand, but...

I've been to Greece

France
Even Iran
With my friend back in ten
I remember thinking
What the fucks up with American men
Ive had more problems when
I go out
It's almost a fight
Ive calmed with years
But face the same spite

Some slumber

This monster
Well fed and overgrown
Stares darkly
A hound near his throne
The stench of fear dissolves

A Study in Prey
Coffee really is for pussys
In think in this humid dome
Lewd pictures litter the leather
Of my temporary home
So many little outfits
The heat is taking a toll
She barely wears a t-shirt now
The last one was just holes
I guess with all the brush she figures no one can see through
I chuckle at the distance my camera covers from this view
The shadow that I hired rounds the corner of her place
The moment sends my heart and lungs on a competitive race ...
