It brings me joy
Listening to my beasts
Scare off the unwanted
In a world where men
Feeling so needed
For protection
I laugh as my beasts
Screech not to me
Command not of me
Deadly
More ferocious
Than any of them
In my solitude
Without you

I dare them

So much more than thee

Take a walk with me
I still know where you go
I still feel how you breathe

Thou cannot show color to the blind
With time
With all my talents

When was the day
Do you remember
Where you decided to turn it off
It had to start small
Surely
Your anger

Did you turn your cheek

What they told you to repeat
When did you decide

In the simplest man
May I find complexity
May I not be bored
With seemingly subdued
Complexity
May I not be a bore
Who claims to have seen the world
To find monotony's score
In others
And therefore
Myself
A lonely anomaly
Unto the common

May I not become a snob
Literary and pedantic
May I not be that knob
Who cannot sit with the party chick
... To think so small of it
May I see the shrinking
Humbling thoughts
Where many can find prey ...

Jealousy Does Not Belong
We are extraordinary
We are beyond
Humble
Wise
Beautiful
One they would lay down a life
Or a hundred
To absolve
They fall easily
We are easy to love
Most unworthy for our touch
Will feel the loss
So I will give you advice
Love yourself
Love them all
Be not saddened
When they leave
When they stage their own fall
They have no choice but to love
And with that sentiment
Comes two
Either forever they consume
Upon rejection
Will hate you ...

Saying goodbye gave me a second chance with you and tata and tio and all whom I wish to grow with. I am truly not angry as I was previously

As sorrow may linger, I vow to cover that pit with smothering memories of love and happiness.
As I merge with the child, the ever present mother, and the blind person that is me, anticipate mistakes that I will own and correct if I can.
My second chance, my love, my other, necessary half; I cannot even say that you and I can split like that. For one moment I feel the gravity centers in me, then the pull of you...

Cultivators Rule This Place
I want to live
To walk along your streets as if a beggar
No story of upcoming ventures
No past to endlessly endeavor
Provide for those who will not pay a Thing back
I walk this place with change in pockets
Blessings to spread if I can
I have sought not
I ask for not
All I want
Has been provided
And as I sit
In sanctuary
Watching nearby
As peace is divided

Generations under one roof
The elderly
Wanting for healthy
Days only...

I Am Light But Wake in Darkness
We don't dream cause we don't sleep
I peep into him briefly
And see
Yeah
He's like me
Rolling the sheets late at night
Hot
Cold
Sweat adds a spice
Old and ripe
Usually I hop in the shower
Sit and think in the bath
Hours
Beckon the sun
Eyelids lag as I cower
But I start my day with a jog and some jabs
The bag ripped
Some more tape I gotta add
Slip out of more sweat
Take another bath
Get a couple calls and texts
Before nine AM
Eat some leftover...

A pinch of bleach
Clean my love
