befire i met you
Before I met you,
I thought I was happy,
and I was,
but I had never known
the rich contentment,
deep satisfaction,
and total fulfillment
you brought to me
when you came into my life.
Before I met you,
I felt a lot of things,
good things,
but I had never experienced
the indescribably intense
feelings I have for you.
Before I met you,
I thought I knew myself,
and I did,
but you looked deep inside me
and found fresh new things
for us to share.
Before I met you,
I thought I knew about love,
but I didn’t,...

till death do us apart
Your eyes are made of every jewel
And for you I will fight any duel
Your mouth full of water
Always make me flutter
Your hair is a beautiful yet mysterious wonder
They always make me ponder
Your nose is breath taking
And for more they leave me wanting
Your ears are rare for I cant find them elsewhere
Above all your face
Is like a fragile vase
And your pure personality is the greatest fit for my 3-d reality
For your sake I will breathe any air

I love you the way you are
With every atom in this body...
And for you I will fight any duel

I need to take you in my strong arms
let me hold you so close and tight.
Our sighs rising high into the heavens,
rocking wrapped up in sweet delight,
You know I'll never ever let you go
I yearn to kiss your lush warm lips till we melt
blissful
in love's wild fire in a dance eternal,
joined at the hip I want you to know,
my heart's pure voice hear me
pour out my feelings for you
to shout them at the boundless sky
so strong, so deep, so clear so true
love's feast calls us to this moment

like the sun
You are like the sun,
When your here you make me smile,
Make me feel like I can run for miles.
You brighten up my day,
Just by the stuff you do and the little things you say.
You are like the healthy green grass,
You are everywhere I look,
Because my heart is what you took.
You are like beautiful flowers,
You make me happy when I am down,
And you turn my frown upside down.
You are like the cool blue water,
You cool me down when I am mad,
You make me happy when I am sad.
You are like the trees,
You make me stand tall,

Mountains may fly, rivers may dry,
But my love for you, will never die.
You are the only one I need,
So open my heart don't let it bleed.
I need your arms to hold me tight,
I hope we never will start to fight.
A promise is what I give to you
Please promise, you'll never say
We're through.
This love I give with all my heart
It's not the end, it's just the start.
Together forever we always will be,
Our love will spread from sky to sea.
If we ever have to be apart,
You'll never be, without my heart.
I end off with saying I love you so...

I was searching for something
but I didn't know where to look,
I searched for so long,
and all my time it took.
What was I looking for,
or what was looking for me?
My eyes I kept open
but I just couldn't see.
It was gnawing at my heart
and ripping through my brain.
I didn't know what was wrong.
I thought I was going insane.
I was tired of looking for something
that I thought was impossible to find.
It was tearing me apart.
I prayed to God to give me a sign.
I waited and waited,
but the sign never came.
Finally, one day it...

Through your music talk to me
let me understand you more,

not as the world thinks you are.

when i did marry you
i married not your clan
And it was never my plan
Now i remain encumbered
with a blanket for grandparents
money for your parents
And presents for your siblings
Today it is your uncle
Tomorrow comes your aunt
The next day is your aunt's
cousin's younger daughter
Then your brother's younger
wife's cousin from misango.
The whole clan comes
Expecting me to keep smiling

When i should be lamenting

Are at adapting to

let us talk about ourselves,
you and me.
have you wondered why
we fear each other as we do?
why you worry about my color
and not my inside?
why, like a bull in the arena
you charge at me without thinking
have you wondered why
even after all your education
in psychology and sociology
in logic and biology
in mathematics and the bible
you still cant think
without reacting at my skin color?
do not tell me about history
for you and me were not...
let us talk together

i have named you queen
there are taller girls than you ,
taller,there are purer girls than you,
purer,there are lovelier girls than you,
lovelier.
but you are the queen
when you walk through the streets
no one recognizes you.
no one sees your crystal crown,no one looks
at the carpet of red gold
you tread as you pass,
the carpet that doesn't exist
and when you come in sight
all the rivers of my body sound,
the sky is shaken with bells,
and a hymn fills the world.

my antelope
a creature to pet and spoil
like a child,
smooth skinned,
stepping cautiously
in the lemon grass.
Round and plump
like a new wed wife
her neck
heavy with brass rings.
her eyes
gentle as a birds
her head,
lovely like curved wood.
when she springs away
she spreads light dust
like a butterfly
which shakes its wings.
her neck seems long,
so very long.
To the greedy hunter
like a child,

yeah ,love is what they call
Love is like magic
And it always will be.
For love still remains
Life’s sweet mystery!!
