Hanging
Shaking with fear
You dominate me
Trembling
yet still
Imprudent
Throw back
The flood gates
Fluid fix
Your shine
Will never let me die
I defer to you
just leave me
Hanging here
A cloud
Of cosmic dust

Routine
Snort the Adderall
Then
Shoot the dope
All of it
Take it in
Taste it
Feel it
Instant satisfaction
I melt
In to myself
Cant talk
Cant walk
Give me a minute
Light a cigarette
Just to burn
Burn out
Or burn myself
In the nod
Get in the shower
Let the cool water
Run over me
Waking up
Slowly
Waking
Perfect timing
Don't want
To be late
For work
Then
Shoot the dope
All of it
Take it in
Taste it

Powerless
I've been here before
the unrelenting pull
my power of choice is rescinded
I pass the point of no return
my light is devoured at the event horizon
space and time stretch to an infinite singularity
the weight of it all is reduced to this
and my world collapses
this is the gravity of my addiction
the silent chaos
the cold empty space
the spirit crushing darkness
I've been here before
the unrelenting pull
