Not really a poem just ramblings of an over worked mind
Married for 19 years, Have fought through all the trials and tears.
Never once had i imagined that i would be caught right here.
I love him, you love her
But together we stand
How is it possible
To be in love with another man?
Hes my high school sweetheart,
The father of my children.
He was my hope and future
Our love is surely forbidden.
Six long years ago you came into my life,
So young and sweet that fateful starry night.
I tried to resist, i tried to fight
The feelings i had on that late fall night.

Never once had i imagined that i would be caught right here.
I love him, you love her
But together we stand
How is it possible
To be in love with another man?

Through the eyes of a doll
A pretty doll up on a shelf
You pick her up, then put her down
When the bitch doesn't play
You pick her up and have your way
When the skank decides to play
Your treasured doll is thrown away
Hurt, betrayed, and sad
You have the gull to ask why shes mad
Its a simple answer she does recall
For i gave you my heart, my soul, my all
And for what to be treated as your whore
When your nasty, troll once again throws you out the door.
You pick her up, then put her down
When the bitch doesn't play

Untitled ( written for my first love and angel baby's father)
Once my lover
Now my friend
My angel's father
But nothing more again
You promised this time you would stay
But once again you walked away.
I said hello
When I should have said goodbye
I knew all along
That once again you would make me cry
Now all I wish
Is to lay down and die.
They say silence is golden
Ignorance is bliss
What in the world
Did I miss?
God only knows
That I can't go on like this.
Now my friend
My angel's father
But nothing more again

My soldier
To my soldier in a faraway land
Know that I am there holding your hand.
What I wouldn't give to have you here in my arms
To know that you are safe away from harm.
Nights are endless, days so long
Until I can dream of whom my heart belongs.
He dresses in camo and carries a gun
He won't be through until the battle is done.
Here I sit in sorrow alone
Hoping and praying he makes it home.
I pray to see the words I'm alright
If I hear nothing I'm filled with fright.
My day is his night, his night my day
Beside him is where I will...

I loved you once long ago
I lost you before we had a chance to know
As years rolled by I hoped and prayed
That once again I would see you face.
All the times I hoped and prayed
Within time the hope began to fade
But still in the crowd I searched for you
Always knowing my love was true.
Then one night as if by chance

To get away from this town where memories stay
