POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Return
Finally -
I’ve been waiting forever
and a day, but
I just knew you’d come waltzing back here
with strong winded words
and fierce looks from hell.
I’ve been waiting forever
and a day, but
I just knew you’d come waltzing back here
with strong winded words
and fierce looks from hell.

Grace
Whispered behind a thin veil
your eyes shaded grey with grief,
words I knew I would try to ignore.
But the end has come, dear.
For us to be parted,
this line drawn between us
definite and pure.
My soul will never repair.
You've reached in and taken a piece,
stolen it.
Whispered your curse and set it free
lost, forgotten.
Now, those other voices,
they grab at me, take me away
into the shadow down the corridor.
Close the gate, lock it tight,
never mind the rusted pipes my dear. ...
your eyes shaded grey with grief,
words I knew I would try to ignore.
But the end has come, dear.
For us to be parted,
this line drawn between us
definite and pure.
My soul will never repair.
You've reached in and taken a piece,
stolen it.
Whispered your curse and set it free
lost, forgotten.
Now, those other voices,
they grab at me, take me away
into the shadow down the corridor.
Close the gate, lock it tight,
never mind the rusted pipes my dear. ...

Wind
Breathe in and
stop-
let the wind live for you
while you stand still, pretty,
silent and lost.
stop-
let the wind live for you
while you stand still, pretty,
silent and lost.
