LOVE POEM

Trapped
A prisoner trapped by emotions
Needing to be free unable to break the chains you keep me in.
I want to run, I want to hide so much pain trapped inside.
Broken down so unsure I don't know who the hell I am any more.
A nameless face is what I've become
Fighting for what used to be love
I know only now heartbreaking pain
What you have done to me I will never be the same.
Scared of being touched I flinch at just the thought.
The day you walk away from me, will be the day I am free!
I know not love anymore because you have made me your whore....

lost in translation
I call out for you but you choose not to hear me
I reach out for you but you choose to pull away
I try to look into your eyes but you choose to turn your head.
Misspoken words fall deep into the soul, what should have could have is already gone.
I lost the moment where you once loved me.
I lost the moment where you said you needed us to be.
What did I do to get us here? Is it all lost in the air?
A moment of silence please do not weep. I'm here right where you sleep.
Can you not see me through the pain? Can you not hear me calling out your name? ...

Love less
Loving you is like walking on broken glass.
Every day there's a new cut made.
Despite my efforts to keep you happy I'm afraid I have failed.
I reach out to you just to have you push me away.
I confront you begin you to stay,
I give you all of me in a desperate attempt to make you love me.
Your eyes see right through me
Your words keep cutting me.
You break me down, you toss me aside still I try to make you see what you mean to me.
Could it be I hate myself so much that I step up to every punch you throw.
Never giving up, never backing down I stand...
Every day there's a new cut made.

My chest is ripped open
My heart has been removed
In it's place shall be an igloo
I will stuff inside all the lies that roll off your tongue like turpentine
Staining all of me

I brought you up to where you are
You repay me with lies and hurt

Labels
Mother, sister, daughter, lover, fighter. All these labels telling us who we are supposed to be, why can't I just be me?!
Bitch, whore, cranky, slut, spitfire. All these labels keeping me down, judge me if you must.
Loner, stoner, free spirit, hippie, looser. All these labels placed onto me, but why I didn't ask for these. Why won't people just be?
Annoying, ambitions, cute throat and viscous fuck with me and you will see just what these labels really mean.
Misfit, misunderstood, miss know it all, miss done for good. Who we are isn't always who we are meant to be....

Eyes that see through me,
Lips that could melt me,
Spoken words that could seduce me,
Hands that warm me,
Arms that protect me,
A body that covers me,
Legs that wrap around me.
He comes close as I breathe him in.
Surrounded in a room full of people,
Exchange of glances from one another,
Careful not to be see by all the others.
Crowded, pushed in, we brush up against one another, the fire ignites, sparks start to fly. Hands touch in a polite hand shake, as we pretend this is our first meeting.
Memories start to over flow, hearts beating fast,...

Words like touch running deep inside, I can feel your longing deep within despite our distance your touching me.
I feel your glare, your gazing stare your words like lips that kiss soft yet sweet you can undo me.
