Tears
Tears roll down a cheek
Slow streams of pain
A heart wronged by deceit
Within - blameless, blame.
A soul, caught by sadness
To - OTHERS empty fears
Weeps, a blameless - madness
Uncaring for her tears.
Hand reaches, touches cheek
Softly, halting tears
Promising – to forever seek
An answer to her fears.

Breathing fast, breathless
Heart pounding, a thunderstorm
Fiery blood, burning sweetly
Lost in a smile.
Head spins, dizzy joy
Body tingles, nervous delight
Kiss, touch, satin lips
Anticipate.

Sacred flame.
