What is love
Asks a drifter
In the night of the lonely
The eyes dark, the face
white as a ghost

Fragile masks we all wear
Despair, the scorching pain
The gentle touch oh so soothing
Numbness rains
Our hearts beat,
As it slowly blinks with a prayer

Rain eventually ends
Our minds twist with no end
Suffocating with a wish of a kiss
Remembrance
A ring in the attic
Candles everywhere
answer your longing wish

In the graveyard
The safest place,
Taking a nap...
