Feather drifted in Wind
Floating gently
Moving gracefully
In the clouds above
Delicate and unfrayed
Undisturbed and pristine
Oblivious to the future
Ignorant to life's fate
Enjoying the scenery
Floating from a high
Warm and gentle
Wind was Feather's guide
Feather and Wind were one
Naive and trusting
Feather relied on Wind
Wind loved Feather
Wind was wise
Knowing eventually
Feather was to land
And start anew
Wind's comforting embrace
Suddenly became...
Floating gently
Moving gracefully
In the clouds above
Delicate and unfrayed
Undisturbed and pristine
Oblivious to the future
Ignorant to life's fate
Enjoying the scenery
Floating from a high
Warm and gentle
Wind was Feather's guide
Feather and Wind were one

■spinning drama

Remorse
Guilt
Repent
My one regret; only remorse
Was not being true
Not using my voice
Allowing to be led off course
Just wanting to be liked
Trying to fit in
Befriending the wrong people
Only to avoid spite
For sheepish security
Glad it wasn't me
Teased and tormented
Befriending the bully
Insecurity and need
No self esteem
Shy and nieve
And seemingly unnoticed
Then a boy paid me attention
Didn't know his name
Clueless of his reputation
I feel so in love

Sharing my bed
Dreams, ideals
Believing when we started
I trusted
In your words
All your promises
I accepted
Portraying a boy scout
You cheated and lied
Gave yourself too many
Made me crazy with doubt
Your games were destructive
For amusements and pleasure
Collecting souls and hearts
Not choosy or selective
No showing of regret
Or remorse for selfish sins
Greedy and lustful
Hunting all you covet
Sharing my bed
Dreams, ideals
Believing when we started

Voices raised
Stories to tell
Interrupting each other
Babbling un-phased
Often loud and bold
Reminiscent memories told
Outsiders don't get it
And can't crack our code
Conversations filled with laughter
Tears and hardship unfold
We bicker and banter
Sometimes talk of the hereafter
No person, place or things
Can come between our bond
We are forever friends
Infinity linked circles and rings
I am so lucky beyond measure

Smiling, crying, laughter through tears
Endless nights of conversation
Talk of dreams, hopes and fears
