Sleep
I tried to sleep with a broken heart.
Everything was cold.
I woke from agonizing dreams
to remember
I'm living the nightmare.
I wished I was not alone.
Prayed for someone to protect me
from the pain.
But in the dark I lie alone
with a broken heart.
Killing myself to sleep.

Looking at life
through a smudged window
I am
but not
alive
not completily whole
so imperfectly transparent
I do
but not
exist.
I see blurred sights
hear muffled calls
but definition
always remains on the other side
I look at life through a smudged window

but understand none

Unforgiven
I Will never forgive you.
If you are who you've become then
you are NOTHING
to me.
I can't see past your cloud of lies.
I can no longer see your face.
All I can see
is the deception you've used to paint your life.
If you are who you've become,
you will NEVER deserve me.
I hope you never find the happiness you're looking for.
I hope you're never forgiven.
You've ruined your life.
You've wasted everything.
I hope you learn of this pain.
I hope it tears you apart.
I hope it never heals.
You will die...
If you are who you've become then

Stitches
My angel, my angel,
deliver me from evil
for I stand right next to it,
You.
you've ripped out my heart,
it beats in your hand,
it still beats for you, my angel, my devil.
you told me once more you loved my bones
that you needed me
lie devil, lie.
You pray I will burn.
I picked up my heart
and sewed it all up,
the stitches spell out your name.
everytime you pass by, the ache
like rain is coming, washes through my soul.
You used to be my angel, but now you are my devil.
And you treat me like the devil, ...

In my world
the blinds are closed
doors locked
windows barred.
Pitbulls roam
rabid and wild
they obey me.
Chains hold me still
Walls hold me back
chainlink fences and barbed wire
between you and me
forever safely jailed.

Aftershock
Days of hiding pass
until you realize
no one's around to see you
you emerge from your shelter
with hesitant steps
and wary eyes
into the remaining world
you don't know where you are
no idea what to do
and just when you think
you can't go on
someone emerges from the wreakage
and he's looking for you...

The snow pours around me

you're nothing but a fuckbuddy

Consider This My Relapse
It was never
meant to be
a one time affair.
Seperation brings
a hunger
not for food.
The hardest thing to do is deny.
I can still hear
the reminescent chords
unable to stop
I lose control
start slow
building my stash
breathing
November air in October
consider this my relapse
my head rings with the whine
of a haunting steel guitar
Dad's music
in my room.
Never be a daddy's girl...
Theses silken stars
rattling in my pill box
bring a promise
of a better life
I believe them
some things never...
meant to be

My desire
soft as velvet
for his secret sex
washed over me
he relished my naked blush.
I was high on his warm breath.
I'd throb
as he explored me.
His touch melted me,
and his wet kiss held me prisoner.
I lay in his embrace
as he wove a web of lust.
We squirmed in feverent longing.
He gasped as he entered
like he'd plunged into ice.
I felt his stiff love
and in the dark
the blaze i felt grew
sweeter than champagne and candy
for a moment
I could picture eternity
and like a flower blooming,
came my quiet...

Who I've Become
I am
who I said I would be
I would be.
The girl who doesn't care.
The girl with a half-way undeserved reputation.
What I haven't done I will.
The girl you'd never fight.
The girl you want as an ally.
Who will defend you,
for a price.
She must be repaid.
The girl who is strong.
Never scared.
Never stressed.
Never touchable,
in the emotional sense.
Physically, you know what she does.
You know her boyfriend.
She's loyal.
She's his.
Uncannily devoted to him.
No warnings could change her mind.
In her eyes it's...

I might not be here tomarrow,
but it's ok.
Because I was here.

People may resent me for my distance,
