Purple Dreams
why did you choose silence between us
we shared more than our hurting souls
still feel your sweet spirit within my heart
sacred conversations known only to us
precious memories awakened in dreams
that I’m forever grateful still alive within me
our precious friendship I never thought
would ever be in my past as a memory
perhaps thoughts in my heart over spoke
apology I offer if my need of you in my life
was a burden cause I was stronger leaning
on a pure soul that leaned back on me
thank you for sharing...

Skeleton Within
among the mist of silence in darkness
that is when I feel the true condition
of the skeleton that cries within
tears drowning already soaked pillow
from an empty thought a minute before
emptiness invades a soul that is dying
knows it's luved by many back
yet sits and wonders why not a special one
who's mark has left a stain from rejection
does the existence of this pitiful soul
really make a difference of yesterday
will it perhaps today or even tomorrow
would it be a sin or blessing
to just not be...
that is when I feel the true condition

Prints Upon My Heart
laying here under our blanket of luv
feeling words we shared years ago
tears flowing thru this heart of mine
no no my luv be not sad of tears
for they are grateful of what we have become
being so fortunate to be yours and you mine
knowing in a while our spirits will embrace
that's when I will feel you walk thru my soul
with such luv feeling your presence within me
your luving thoughts of me will enter my mind
turning darkness into sexy dreams of serenity
visions of our shared words come to life
...

Paradise Is Luving You
"I'm proud of who you are and love you very much because of it."
how can I say in ink how you make me feel when you say this
your words to me bring tears down my cheeks
cause I don't always understand why you luv me so
could it be the luv we share is so rare
so sacred even heaven can't imagine it
Angel's tears appear as misty rain admiring our luv
will never forget the day I truly felt Gods blessing and mercy
when He looked down upon my soul with such compassion
His will was done with just a sigh our paths...

So It Is ~ So It Be
dreams come to life as if yesterday
so many memories still awaken me
why doesn’t the past remain lost
every dream takes me back in time
where words of poetry flowed freely
now all is silent within my soul
perhaps a lesson has not yet been bloomed
words shackled to emotional reprieve
I’ve not been fair admitting cruel truth I gave
something in the misty purple moon light
seems different tonight as it casts judgement upon me
problem with you ending our friendship wasn’t ~
wasn’t YOU!

wandering thoughts of reflection
judgement inking poisoned thoughts
tainted quill lay upon blank crinkled parchment
purple blood ink fading upon an unread heart
dripping from soul to sanities darkness
life's lessons captivates stone cold passion

Todays Reflection
standing naked before a mirror
with body & soul trembling
who’s reflection will I see
truth is blinded by made up lies
heart splattering red, filling cracks
as if painting stained glass
turn an hourglass upside down
sand turns to dripping blood
leaking thru a creaking floor
gasping for one final breath
before l’m sinking into hells fire
it’s your reflection that I see

will never forget the day
you whispered "Hello!" so luvingly
when your heart hugged mine sweetly
feeling a special warmth thru my soul
just by reading your tender luving words
that I still feel within me this very day
when I become weary in life's trials
I lay in silent darkness and hear your voice
speaking to me with a passionate tongue
how beautiful is the sound of you

Empty Spaces
we all have empty spaces
some are in our lives
others in our hearts
even in depths of our souls
have no answers for anything
just know what I believe
gets me thru the day
been thru many things just like you
although we live different lives
been many different places
we are close in some ways
some of our pain is the same
friendships come and go
have lost some along my journey
also have gained some
some we are only to share for a while
luvers have come and gone as well
we have seen pain...
some are in our lives
others in our hearts

just know what I believe

I see you walking in the moon light
with uncertainty surrounding your spirit
take my hand and smile with me
feel passion pumping thru my pulse
just from you being near
please dry your raining tears
close your eyes tonight
sleep peacefully in sweet dreams
let your soul connect with mine
see me next to you in your slumber
hear the lullaby my heart sings
with each breath fill you with me
sink your head into that fluffy pillow

although tears fall at times
we must leave sadness behind
look beyond todays disappointments
wake up tomorrow, smile at the sun
watch deer play from your window
listen to nature beautifully sing
when bright moonbeams shine
upon ripples gliding across a pond
feel God’s luv thru pink stars above
sacred friendship we shall always share

Here I Am ~
a new year subsiding within me
not sure my heart is ready yet
to welcome more life without you
deepest emotions flooding me
as clocks tic tock memories passed
of sweet admiration we shared for years
messages fell silent after your death
sadness consumed my heart & soul as I
read your obituary time seemed to pause
moonbeams streak across nightly skies
beautifully brightening heavens horizon
here I am ~ sending my heart to you 💜
