POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I have no art. I do everything as well as I can.
Red Stairs
there are roses on my stairs
for she comes home late
feeling dragged by the world
carrying a depressed weight
a challenge for her in life
is to make a smile
hoping red petals will blossom
her inner child
for she comes home late
feeling dragged by the world
carrying a depressed weight
a challenge for her in life
is to make a smile
hoping red petals will blossom
her inner child

Where I Stand in the Universe
Sometimes I look up into the sky
And gaze at the stars
And see their peace
Instead of looking down
At my feet
And see my unrest
And gaze at the stars
And see their peace
Instead of looking down
At my feet
And see my unrest

Forget to Remember or Remember to Forget
I was excited it was Friday
Because tomorrow is my birthday.
But then I remembered today is my moms birthday.
And I forgot.
Which is weird to forget such a day.
It just came upon me and wondered what to do about it.
Not because I was being selfish,
but because there was nothing to plan for this day
Nothing to do.
No one to wish a happy birthday
no gifts to buy.
No one to hug.
I can only call out in a silent prayer
And wish her a happy birthday.
I love you and miss you.

Split
I mention "our scars are only symbols of the real pain."
And showed her my cut from long ago on my chest suggesting my heart has been divided.
Touching the wound delicately, she traces her fingers along the length and asks fragrantly, and she understood instinctively.
She came to me uncertain whether of her own trust or curiosity
a little distressed
A little disheveled
A little disinhibited
Over a light malty drink with the rain dimming the night light
She talks of pain and hurt and trust.
"Can I show you where I hurt?”
Silently agreeing,...

Can You Hear Me?
If I could
I would sing this song for you
Sending you these words
And you can hear my voice
And my voice touches you
In the most gentle
And perverted ways
We can conjure together
In our ballroom of fantasy
Where our sounds explore our dark secrets
And light our way
To a new found reality
And my voice will go with you
Led by the notes
From this song
Sung for you

Cranial Meltdown
monday morning
and its hot as fuck
trying to find the words
that are somewhere stuck
It's the humidity
Not the heat
That boils my brain
On the city streets
Inspiration found
Rising in waves
Of hallucinations
In a yellow haze
Saturated colors
With a tint of gold
Thoughts evade me
But it beats the cold.
and its hot as fuck

It's the humidity
Not the heat
That boils my brain
On the city streets

Dark Whispers
Your sex precedes your entrance
In your wispy black neglige
Pained by experience
Barely cloaking your argent skin
You are not here to be healed
But to disrobe the hurt
And come alive in your amphitheater of pleasure
As the midnight moon taps into your veins
Seducing you seducing me
Enraptured by sensorium
In a river of tangible heat
Meet my longing at your delta
Touching my edge
To your soft lips
to enter deep
with the radiant bursts of blood and electricity.
The mundane dissipates
While the voice is replaced with...

Moonlit Skin
Your silk moonlit skin kills me
No longer akin
Aching to be long
In your heart it hurts
Where's my touch?
You secured my ego
In a shell with a ribbon
Gently tugged the knot
With your delicate fingers
In one pull you can undo me
Your perfumed words
Aromatically fill my senses
Since i seen you
Last...

Teardrops
They fall from my eyes
Into the shadows of fantasies
As it travels its way
Onto my cheeks
Both tears rest comfortably
With my nose centered in the sternum
With a squeeze from the outside
Light gives way for pillowy darkness
A death I could endure with a smile
Into the shadows of fantasies
As it travels its way
Onto my cheeks
Both tears rest comfortably
With my nose centered in the sternum
With a squeeze from the outside
Light gives way for pillowy darkness
A death I could endure with a smile

Right Here
There is no one in the graves or the churches
Bodies that once fought for life,
succumbed to nourishment for the earth
There is no one to talk to in the graves or the churches
We are not sequestered to cemetaries or cathedrals upon death.
Except for idolization
There are no thoughts in the graves or the churches
With the exception of the lost
Wondering if their prayers are accepted, but probably not.
There is no spirit in the graves or the churches
They have left and disseminated throughout
Leaving cold stone remains
There...

Iron Persona
She severed my voice
From her ears.
I feared solitude again.
To hide my ugliness
I donned a rusty mask,
And cast a shadow
On the lighter self
To expose my darkness.
Who wants to explore
The murky cellars of my heart?
I found her dark morals more sensual
And accepting than
the brood of day
And, though. there is
Distance
and Damage, it is
Unspoken.
As the shadows grow opaque
And the mold beautiful
I still long to touch her skin.
From her ears.
I feared solitude again.
To hide my ugliness
I donned a rusty mask,
And cast a shadow
On the lighter self
To expose my darkness.
Who wants to explore
The murky cellars of my heart?
I found her dark morals more sensual
