POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Memory Serves
She smiled to light up the day
We reached high for long
overdue huggs
Walking a spell we soon
parted ways and with a tick of
her tongue she said her goodbyes
Warm with her spirit I turned
away,thinking,for she
was everything we all were
one day. She reminded me of
my own, her love sent
me back to that secret place
draped in cobwebs and distant
echoes of some happier time.
Caught in the moment,
a childs eye

Radiant with child
one love she receives
The breath of her master,
the Flutes symphony, as gentle lips deliver
ethereal spawn, with each finger change
A brand new song
Listen softly and quietly heard,
A tremble,
A heartbeat
Loves last word

Mystery
Her mystery consumes my thoughts
I never heard her screams in
the night or felt the tear as
it raced down her cheek.
We never spoke of four letter words,
actions speak louder and now its
all clear, the space between us is
called forever, and now the panic
of loss ripps through my chest while
I sitt on the edge where ten thousand
deathes live, their shadows seek answers
to questions never asked, fighting battles
that will never be one, In solemn
thought I forget to breathe,
Love a mystery!
