cloud nine this a tribute to those couples who are creating a tomorrow together
ssh baby i want to live on cloud nine
im start off by renting an a place
making it my own i know
it wont always be a drama
free zone
this oh i know yet
i want to take steps
to making cloud nine
my second home
its okay if we graffiti
our names up there
its full couples of names
its home to many couples
celebrities in all
my ex name is up here
for having the highest
count for bringing couples
together his name is...

Becky spoiled my man
she gave him becky every time he was mad
so now he assumes he'll never
have to talk about his problems
He barely wants to listen
just assumes when i mess up
I'll drop to my knees
becky has this man fearing
confrontation
it's like he doesn't understand
that communication is key
just assumes when things go wrong
his woman suppose drop to knees
blow his mind until he forgets
now he seems like he's bad
for relationships
doesn't even try
cause everything was given to him
I'm about to get a refund for him
so now he assumes he'll never
have to talk about his problems
He barely wants to listen
just assumes when i mess up

I wanted to be
eveything you wanted
that pefect fit
the one your momma told you about
have everything in me you need
be your thearpist when you need to talk
lend you my ears eveytime you need someone to listen
wrap my arms around you when pain rocks you
I would've allowed you to put me together
to be the piece of the puzzle you've been missing
handle your heart with care
the thought that i'll break it is your biggest fear
I've worked so hard @ being perfect for you

Riddle me this
Why is it okay for you to wake up beside me
But not be brave enough to define us
Have i allowed you to get away with this that long
As i stop and lowered my guard a little
Have I let the wrong person enter my heart again
So that I've allowed my heart to tell his-story
you fear getting hurt yet i stop letting fear control me
i let down my guard slowly i find myself
On the outside looking in hurt again
That doesn't stop me im wondering will he be better this time
maybe you'll allow your guard to drop now
that i've showed u there isn't...
But not be brave enough to define us

Rent a guy
I'm falling oh so hard
until i realize that there is no certain length
of time your suppose be in my life
no guarantee on how long we may be
heart aches come and go
more problems come the longer were together
i start to wonder if it's cause
you haven't been returned
everything you have was pleasing to the eye
your smile even your eyes
the sound of your laughter
the way you keep yourself together
you seem perfect and i know i shouldn't judge a book but it's cover
i yearned to know the story that came along with you
was...
until i realize that there is no certain length

the guy that dad just couldn't stand
felt he was as bad for you as junk food
with a smile you believe the sky were falling
his touch have you ready to fall for him
even though you heard the stories and met the girls
whose hearts he'd broken but that wouldn't stop you
it couldn't their was something about him that mesmerize you
had you under some form of spell that couldn't be broken
what he did pulled you in
never did you stop to ask yourself why
he charmed right out of those panties of yours
then he left @ the heart break hotel

Your touch has me
realize that i should pause
just enjoy the moment we might create
the way your eyes have swept over me
i would of sworn you kept my picture
inside your wallet to show me off
as you wrap your arms around me
pull me close I feel as if you
won't let go of me or what we have

As I filed the report
To help the officers
Find who they were looking for
I didn’t realize clues
Clues had been left all
Over the place
The detective said I was
A prime suspect
My dna was all over the place
He took me in for questioning
Asked where was when
This alleged suicide took place
I explained I was very far away from the
Scene
No where around when everything went down
Yet I was all over the person cell phone records
That night also the day before
So the dective asked what plans we had in store

Armour
I've wore this for a while now
People have a hard time
believing that I have struggled
with feeling protection
It seems hard for them
to tell that there
were problems that I had faced
I only wore this to keep people
away
Mostly men due to the fact
that women
were often hurt when they were a smaller size
is what i believe then
yet as i grew older it wasn't just smaller woman
I faced a problem
Can I lose the Armour ?
Become uncomfortable
with the stares and glares that come along
Or to stay safe I hang out with...

but im more than qualified
to play the game
i get you to smile

practice
i've beside you long enough
to know you

of all people

promoters got us
weighing in
there are so many
spectators
you would thought
it was benard or floyd
about to fight
there are some people
in my corner
but i've brung the others
to yours
when they put up the versus
posters
ready for whats yet to come
the insults came and went
so i decided im ready for the fight
im getting the gloves
put on
my friend whispers you got this
trainer my bro says k.o....
weighing in
