Stay The Course
Gotta find humor within the bullshit
Or you may result to killing a bitch
Laugh now, cry later they say to you
Do what you need to to get through
Might have to distance yourself
From folks who're bad for your health
Whether or not you believe in GOD
Doesn't change the fact that life is hard
Minimize the negativity that you absorb
Life is a journey so stay the course
No matter what, you have to love yours
Live by your own rules and own accord
Or you may result to killing a bitch

Indivisible Under GOD
It's time to do much more than survive
Time to thrive and actually enjoy life
Have had many trials and tribulations
Now in search of great joy and jubilation
Calculating the numbers of this difficult equation
On how to spread the feeling across this nation
We've got the red, the white, the black and the blue
As well as the Muslim, the Christian and the Jew
So many little things to cause us to be divisible
Only the wealthy are allowed to be the principal
While the poor are treated like they're invisible
The laws of the land made by man are...

Freddy Ain't Dead
Take a pig, give it a uniform and a shiny badge
That'll appear to me to be exactly what we have
These are the same swine in which Jesus casted demons
If the story in Matthew of the Holy Bible is what you believe in
Something has to explain why they're acting deranged
They think they're untouchable like a man high on cocaine
They've been given a little power and let it go to their heads
They better not sleep on brothas because Freddy ain't dead
They'll be a nightmare on Elm Street or wherever they live
If freedom, justice and equality for all isn't what...

I know what you did last summer
I've awakened fully out of my slumber
In your mind I'm nothing but a number
Just another brotha you want asunder
When I come for you you'll hear thunder
In the ground you'll be six feet under
Now you know that you've fucked up
I told you awhile ago that I'm no punk
Now you're hit point blank with the pump
You didn't listen; thought I was a chump
Dumb mothafucker, goodbye, your time is up

P.I.C.S.
They've got you under surveillance and are taking pics
The Prison Industrial Complex is where you'll be sent
Police In Control are taking lives with illegal choke holds
The People In the Communities witness it as it all unfolds
The grand juries appear to be People In Cahoots
We're having Personal Internal Crisis' and don't know what to do
People I Care about may die by the hands of the boys in blue
Picture Individual Corpses flashing before your eyes in the rear view

Running Out Of Time
I now do whatever I want for me
It's like I've finally had an epiphany
What's meant to be usually will be
So from me to you I issue this decree
If you don't want me creeping in these streets
You better learn how to treat me like a KING
If you respect me like you claim that you do
Let your actions show it out in plain view
One person's trash is another person's hidden treasure
What you won't do, someone else would love the pleasure
Take heed to these words I've put together in this rhyme
You just don't realize, you're so close to...

I want to be the lyrics constantly repeated in your mind
The bass that vibrates and sends chills down your spine
Loving the music as back and forth you bob your head
Going to be the living proof that hip hop truly ain't dead
No need for a ghost writer cause baby this is all me
Being fake is something that I can't even conceive
So go ahead and encase me in your speaker box
The entire hood will enjoy the music as we ride up the block
The bass that vibrates and sends chills down your spine

There's not a doubt in my edified mind
That every man considers you a dime
Physically fit, sexy thighs and big behind
Goddess, you are undoubtedly divine
Before I pursue, I need to know more about you
What's on your mind? What are your pursuits?
Tell me your dreams about what you want to do
Do you have any kids? How many? One or two?
Your appearance is flawless but I need to know
Are you a self respecting woman or are you a ho?
Are you drug free or do you snort a little blow?
Trying to avoid certain types of women I been with before
...

Captain Save A Ho: Homie Didn't Know
When he met her she already had a two week old
The father was M.I.A. is what he was originally told
That man was always a sucker when it came to kids
He honestly never even attempted to keep that hid
Ol' boy had just got out of a long term relationship
So he initially wasn't even trying to hear any of this
Since he was already feeling extremely heart broken
All he wanted to pursue were some homie, lover, friends
But he started spending more and more time with her
And slowly started thinking her and her baby were the cure

How is it that some men have to beg for head?
Pimps got hoes doing it AND giving up the bread
The psychology of the game, I don't understand
Why so much bullshit when trying to be a good man?
I'm undoubtedly starting to believe and really see
Need to seclude myself and reemerge a different D
Somethings that have been ingrained in my brain
May need to be scrubbed out like a difficult stain
There are things that you become accustomed to
That women you were with would regularly do for you

Angry Black Man
Angry black man is what you're telling me you see
I'm confirming that is true and yeah he is surely me
A.B.M. is the acronym that describes what you perceive
A B.M. is what I see that they're trying to drop on D
I fear no man and will not begin fearing one today
My only fears are death and not providing for my baby
I fear death only because what's next remains unknown
Won't find out until, like E.T., I inevitably phone home
There are many who claim to know all about the afterlife
My response to you feeling that way is, "that's NICE"...

Seeking My Trust
Look for my trust in Webster's between tired and try
I've tried too many times and I'm tired of all the lies
"I love you" is what they enjoy making me believe
Their actions are counterproductive to this deceit
Way down in the jungle deep, this may actually be true
How do you realistically expect me to believe either of you?
Look at the positions I've allowed you both to put me in
All because I was selfless and wanted us all to win
Y'all have disdain for each other but you're looking like twins
I may ultimately have to bring both of...
