Never Forget
I love you more than a friend
I always will, that’s true,
You may never fully understand
What I would do for you
The way I feel when my mind drifts
Back to when it first began
Those butterflies still flutter inside
Memories make me grin
All I want to be
Is just a small part of your world
To know I am not forgotten
Or end up just some girl
You have someone who loves you
And cares what you are feeling
I would walk thru hell on earth for you
Never forget – in you I will always be believing

'Til
Locked inside
No one knew
How much it hurt
'Til sorrow grew
Claimed a life
Shattered a soul
Burned by fate
'Til she didn't know
How to live
Or how to love
Abandoned by all
'Til she just gave up
Took a journey
In permanent dark
Blinded by light
'Til death was an art
No voices, no shadows
Only surrender - no fear
The faint pulse of memory
'Til there were no tears
Coldness and palor
Her face is now marked
She self destructed
'Til lost hope...
No one knew

A crowded room
I make my way

Get out of this place

Out to the car
Slam the door

Small Town
Do you remember the days
When as kids we would play
Outside we would stay
Life was never gray
Hide and go seek
Down by the creek
Around back we would sneak
For a quick peck on the cheek
Met up with the “Gang”
Our songs we sang
No cell phones rang
Never seemed strange
Nothing was finer
Thought our league was the minors
Except when those base liners
Left one of us with a shiner
Rode bikes to the park
Made the neighbor’s dogs bark
Pedaled so hard, swore we left sparks
So we...

Nothing Untouched
I see candles through the window
A soft and inviting glow
My body feels the heat
Excitement begins to show
You open the door
I slip inside
Frantically pulling off our clothes
Exposed and nothing to hide
You trace my body with your hands
Your tongue caresses my breasts
Sending waves of pleasure
Your touch makes me ever so wet
I run my fingers
Through your hair
I clinch my fists
There’s more if we dare
I slowly feel my way down
Leaving nothing on you untouched
Savoring every inch...

Hidden Connection
Hidden in the depth of memory
A spirit lies dormant
Until something ignites a spark
And unleashes an uncontrollable torrent
When the butterflies swirling inside
All at once begin to bite
I suddenly shudder and gasp
While my body fills with delight
The sensation stops me instantly
And I let the feelings rush in
The chills begin to cascade in waves
I am reminded soul connections never end
I close my eyes, free my mind
And savor every tingle ...

Discarded, or ignored
I would gladly take your hand
And love you even more
I would hold you close and listen
To your hopes and dreams and fears
Be a part of your sadness
I would shed with you my tears
I would never take you for granted
I have gone a lifetime without true love
I would simply be thankful
For you being a blessing from above

Garden
Sometimes I feel suddenly afraid
As if I am slipping beneath the surface
Of something I cannot control
Suffocating in my own confusion
Desperately trying to find a light
To break through the darkness that settles
Like cement in my mind
Weighing down anything that begs to let go
Inside I hear the laughing
As I carry my burdens in a see-through bag
Slung over my shoulders
Bearing down on me and keeping my head held down
To you, the bag is nothing but a bunch of junk
To be discarded, along with me
I know what is in the bag ...
