The Love Affair of Tad and Elizabeth--final days--30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37 and 38
DAY 30 --IN EL PASO--THE NISSAN GETS A NEW SET OF TIRES, THE LOVERS CONSIDER A NEW DISGUISE, AND A COLLISION ALMOST HAPPENS
While waiting for the tires to be installed, Tad and Elizabeth moved a bit off the tire store grounds towards the sidewalk, where they strolled about, aimlessly, getting in a lot of smooching at sudden moments.
Tad's face was still completely shaven. Elizabeth missed the feel of his goatee.
"What if I grow a very thin pencil mustache?"

"Ok, what if I grow the goat again and walk a dog? Wherever I...

DAY 27, PHOENIX, ARIZONA--GOING TO CHURCH AND GETTING HORNY
It was because he could imagine everything beneath that long, old-fashioned, newly bought multi-colored Renaissance-like dress, as she walked before him into the sanctuary, it was because of that he had a raging boner. She kept glancing back at him with a certain smile, reddening at times. He knew then she was hot too.
About halfway through the service, before the pastor took the pulpit, Tad squeezed Elizabeth's hand with a little pull and they scooted out of the pew and out of the church.

The REI Store (Recreational Equipment Incorporated) is a co-operative store located in San Diego, California. It was recommended , if you remember, to Tad and Elizabeth when they visited Pensacola Kayak and Sails a few weeks ago.in Florida. DAY 24--WELLTON, ARIZONA / A BRIEF IDYLL
Every person and every thing has an aura, Tad was thinking as he sat on the edge of the bed reading kayak brochures in the Desert Motel, in this small town which breathed of Jill's aura: a population of little over 2500, conservative, staid, never daring to question beyond itself .Suddenly it crossed his mind that
maybe he and Elizabeth and Jill all three could live together-- a menage a trois.

The Love Affair of Tad and Elizabeth / days 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20
DAY 16-FITTING INTO A KAYAK
As if in the showroom of a luxury automobile dealership,they ran their hands along the varnished cedar of the sleek, mounted 26 foot kayak so proudly on display in the middle of the showroom of Pensacola Kayak and Sails. They climbed aboard and took their places.
Tad being a tall man had a problem with his knees jutting out too far in v formation, whereas Elizabeth much shorter,fitted compactly behind him in the stern.
While sitting at the manager's desk, chatting, Tad could see out of the corner of his eye the salesman...

DAY 11-SERENDIPITIES
It is above a garage -a flight of stairs opening on a bedroom,a cement bathroom, and a small kitchen.Tad and Elizabeth are in the little city of Brent, about four miles outside Pensacola proper. They have just signed a short term rental. The Italian widow who owns the Spanish house and property shook their hands and gave a brief hug to each (Old World Italian manners) before she left and could be heard waddling down the wooden staircase.Tad and Elizabeth would move in tomorrow.
