Forever more
I start my day with the sunrise.
A cotton candy love surprise.
Cool breeze that forever pleases.
Fresh crisp air my body lingers and is bare.
I feel alive forever more.
Continuing on like a bird in flight.
Never giving up.
The faster I go the more alive by video.
A quiet sense of eternal grace.
Numbness in my fingertips as I embrace.

Once again...
Above the clouds.
This time...
Nostalgic.
Proud.
Dignified.
Still numb...
To the realistic nature of things.
Time will pass...

The Day After
Overcast.
Birds chirp.
Bumble bees buzz.
A spider eats its lunch.
A cool breeze.
I sit & ponder...
Life, death & all the rest.
A woodpecker.
The sun & warmth finally beat down upon me.

The air around me
The smell of cheap cologne.
Maybe deodorant.
Mixed with body odor.
A hint of mint from the gum that he chews.
He plays on his Surface.
In search of his creativity.
A hairy, sleeveless Steven Spielberg is my neighbor to the right.

I sit & contemplate.
The breeze blows against my skin.
The sound of the riding mower in my right ear.
A bird chirping in my left.
The crack of the bat as it hits a ball.
A dog barking.
The sun is behind the trees now.
Time to go in...

Long, flowing, dark hair.
Eyes that twinkle in the glare.
A smile that's sweet & bright.
Her warm touch is a morning delight.
I kiss her, I hug her, I love her so.
