All Alone
That I`m not alone
is the illusion that friendships create
A lifetime of searching
for someone to bond with
is a silly fate
From where my life began
to where my life will end
I will be my own truest friend
At my eulogy, my praises some may rave
but it will still be just me
and me alone
laying in my grave
When they close my casket
I`ll be all alone
There will be no more time for sins to atone
I will begin a journey to the unknown
and that too,
I`ll do all alone

TOLLING OF THE BELL
TOLLING OF THE BELL
The solemn tolling of the bell
and the journey to hell
Marched in succession
through the debtors door
The common thief, the murderer
and the filthy whore
As The executioner awaits
his ghastly business of death,
with merciless breath
and a soul so shallow
he reigns lord of the gallows
It’s quite the spectacle of an affair
The gathering of the crowd
The priest feverishly praying
the condemned`s last prayer
As the gawkers shout and jeer
It’s into the depths of their own souls
they peer
That they...

ALREADY DEAD
ALREADY DEAD
When I look in the mirror
it doesn`t get any clearer
I can see my face
but I`m not there
All I see is nothingness
neither joy nor despair
When I stare into my eyes
there`s neither a sparkle nor a tear
A look of complete voidness
neither happiness nor fear
From this wound in my heart
my soul has escaped
It left a long time ago
through this hole that has gaped
You`d think I`d hurry
to try and find it instead…
but there`s no need to bother
because I`m already dead!

CULTURE WAR
Our Civil War may be over but Our Culture War rages on
We’ve laid down our guns only to continue fighting with words and laws.
Its American vs. American
Which side are you on?
Its time you decide
America is deeply divided and her choices are clear.
Its evil vs. good
Its 5th avenue vs. the hood
Generosity vs. the greedy
and not giving a damn about the needy
It’s the NAACP vs. the Klan
Its robbing people from your Wall Street office vs. working for the man
Its Liberal vs. Conservative
Its hiding behind Christianity to...
