I don't miss swimming
I miss that moment of clarity
Where I float on my back above water
Feeling no weight of mu body or responsibilities
Just the cool water splashing in my eyes

Nothing on my mind but serenity
Each breath of air feeling cold and lively
Opening my eyes to see the stars above
Moonlight reflecting on gentle waves
Realising I'm nothing compared to the vastness of the universe
My problems a mere speck

Epiphanies to live every moment of my privilege with joy
And appreciate everything I have
To take out...

Some days are good
Some days are bad.

You're my highest high,
You're my saddest sad.
You're my loudest laughter,
You're my muffled cries.

I wish we could go back
Back to when times were simpler,
Truths were held bare,
And lies didn't have manipulative intentions.


Do I even love you anymore?
Am I just clinging to the idea that one day,
Things will be the same again
Smiles would be pure again
Eyes sparkling with light again
The sight of you bringing me nothing but pure joy

Here's a poem from a very low day,
Waiting for a signal from the bay.
Hoping you would notice the light,
That doesn't shine anymore at night.
Too disappointed to tell you,
Too afraid to face the blues.
Tearing up and staining pillows
In a hope to bury my sorrows,
My last poem for you was so happy,
I hate to write this one all snappy.
But this is how things are now-a-days,
Or should I say since your bday
All happy memories have become a blur
Distinct are all the slurs
I hate to say this but i wish i were with a better...
