Saved?
The thumps of my footprint as it hits on the pave is my favorite sound in the slums,
as I lead the parade with its drum,
and they follow ‘cause they think we'll be saved when I'm done, heh...
of all the lies that's the greatest to come,
while I explain that the thing I hold greatest is none,
so I should probably be ashamed but it's fun,
I'd probably be insane but I'm dumb,
my only aspiration is to be the highest paid of the bums,
during my strive to slip away but that day never comes,
So I take a sip of pain but I'm numb,
till they...
