Repentance
I heard the message and I took it in,
I gave myself to Christ i abandoned sin
I ignored all evil i past many tests,
woke up with a happy heart giving God my best
It was so easy to walk in Jesus' light
Didn't have to struggle didn't have to fight
Then one day the devil showed his skin,
I resisted at first but then I let him win
I still talked to Jesus I still confessed my sins
I tried to pick myself up and I fell down again
I got down on my knees and prayed with all my heart
Yet I felt no peace and things got way to hard
If I could...

Dependency
It seems to me that our minds lie
in the trap of darkness which we despise
We nurture madness yet fear its ends
and dream of life to find forgiveness for our sins
Driven by the mighty engine of fear
we destroy through consumption all we hold dear
Minds filled with mad offerings
dreams of death the only thing proffering
A promise of new premise
the supernatural release of our souls great blemish
in the trap of darkness which we despise
We nurture madness yet fear its ends

The Great Unrest
Noise that fills the troubled mind
Ins and outs they all collide
Thoughts drowned out not fully formed
Coming through faster than the norm
Rising up then falling down
Trying to escape this horrible sound
Running far away it seems
Yet not moving towards my dreams
Now little more than a memory
The quiet seems to be a dream
Ins and outs they all collide

Distraction
No real purpose in all these years spent
time passing by like our lives are for rent
expectations from people who really know nothing
maybe they have it figured out but then why cant they show me
information so useless when we don't know whats missing
so we go through the motions and keep on dismissing
looking in the mirror we don't like what we see
it gives us no answers about our humanity
we are searching for a question but who would we even ask
and if our time is so valuable why can't we get it back
everything dies and we all suffer ...

Unknown Truth
Alas the world stood before me
the shapeless shifting mass of humanity
I had thoughts the world did not exist
save only my perception of this
Laws of physics laws of government
edicts of nature theorems mathematics
Ordering constraint casting jokes on jokes
mental manifestation of the unsaid yoke
All things are of the same basis just again and again
for nothing is infinity beginning is end
So do you comprehend my soliloquy
can at last the world perceive of me
Of this shapeless shifting mass of this mentality
the shapeless shifting mass of humanity

Hatred of darkness
in simple order
To love the light
to fear the madness
I must define my border
In the blackest night
My heart will require
To flee the fight

To live in the right

Haunted
Is it the torment and suffering that you were meant to feel,
thinking of all the dreams you had but none of them were real
Looking back regretting the decisions you never should have made,
no longer blaming your past or the people you still haven't forgave
Lying to everyone assuring them that everything is fine,
While fighting with demons that threaten to control your mind
Trapped in a world full of evil all you can do is just give in,
It doesn't matter how hard you fight your powerless to win
Now you have to live with the choices that you were forced...

Immortal
The lines will never cross and I will never die,
as painful as it is there's truth in every lie
First and everlasting forever is my curse,
I spend all eternity preparing for the worst
Nothing really matters no emotions ever show,
everyone i let in always has to go
Everyday is pointless and cycles on repeat,
life is just an enemy that I can not defeat

Smoke
Beautiful smoke bleeds through my lungs,
Clouding up my mind making me feel numb
Blazing up before the sun,
Ignoring my problems helping me run
Smoke so much the high is gone,
The only solution to everything thats wrong
Thoughts once racing now stay in place,
Finally able to focus before they start to chase
Put to ease my troubled mind,
Put everything into focus on thing at a time
Beautiful smoke clouding up the air,
Fading away like it was never even there
