Burnt Bridge
As I look back,
At all the people I have met,
I burnt so many bridges,
Watch them burn, spark,
And crack,
Let those bridges burn,
It doesn’t matter if I only
Knew you for a year,
A month,
Or two weeks,
Eventually we shall
Never talk,
Anymore,
Burn those bridges,
Watch them burn,
Because you are not coming back,
Watch those bridges burn,
Friendship means nothing,
It only fills,
A temporary gap,
Because all you really
Have in this life,
Is just yourself,
So watch those bridges burn,
And then fade,...

The Dagger in my back
Letting the pain
Of your words,
Digging through me,
Like daggers,
Our world has
Plundered,
Into the depths of hell,
It will never,
Be what we dreamt,
All is gone,
And you have forgotten,
But I still keep trying to move on,
But pictures of you,
Keep washing over me,
Like an ocean,
Crashing down upon,
The rocky surface,
I just can’t seem
To let you go.
In two weeks,
We will be in the same city,
Living two different lives,
Not what we had planned,
Why did this have to end?
I miss you.
Of your words,

Black Rose
In your Black,
Leather jacket
Looking so worn,
And tired,
Smoking your final
Cigarette before
You pass out,
Black rose,
You used to be red,
But now you
Are living in
A world of regret,
As beautiful,
As a red rose,
But your petals
Have turned black,
Like your soul,
Do not fear,
One day you will be
Red again.

And tired,

Our world
What the FUCK is
Wrong with this world,
Kids starving,
People being,
Butchered,
And slain,
All that matters
Is making money,
Disgusting,
BANG,
As the million dollar
Bomb explodes
The poor man’s mud shack,
Why do we keep fighting?
All over money,
Stupid propaganda,
THIS WORLD MAKES ME SICK!

Feeling the bitter end,
Which is so near,
Like a wolf sniffing for blood,
I know I have lost you,
As I head down the southern
Highway,
High beams shining bright
All I can think of how much
Farther till the end of this
Road.
I never want it to end,
But I know it must,
This distance is just
Far to much.
I may never see you again,
But I will never forget how I left you,
In tears,
As I was heading out the door.
Heading along that desolate highway,
Leaving everything I loved behind me.

Nights of the Devil
I hate not being with you
The nights are so long,
Like someone putting a dagger in my back,
Its so cold,
I can’t take it much longer.
I need to be with you,
You are everything to me,
You are the morning sun
When I wake up
And the Moon
When I fall asleep,
Now it is only the shadows on my wall
Dark as night,
Feels like the devil may come,
Thrashing with pain,
Waking up weary,
Turning over and you’re not there
I miss you.
Home is where you are,
Being alone is no longer an option.
I love you more than words can...

Talking to her,
Talking to another,
Three girls at once,
And the same old other,
All it does,
Is ease the pain,
But when they’re gone,
I’m just left,
With thinking of you,
It’s not the same,
But I wish it were,
I want you back,
Even though it hurts,
You were the best,
For me,
All that is left,
Is the poison I breath,
I hope you come back,
Sooner than later,
But I want you to know,

Pick it up and take

Whiskey Love
Slow as the whiskey
burns in the back
of my throat,
it burns as bad
leaving you,
but I had too
