MIDNIGHT DOODLES
Name is Dennis,
never a menace,
talks and enquires,
politely retires,
likes French boys,
very desirable toys.
Name is Ron,
reputed to carry on,
like Catholic Sister,
will give you a blister,
responds to fun,
believes he's smarter than everyone.
Name is Lex,
quick to Hex,
likes to make people vexed,
doesn't need to break their necks,
instead verbally socially wrecks.
Name is Peter,
skilled at entreater,

conservative resistance beater,
perhaps a First...

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

POET BEE CATASTROPHE
Kevin says write every day,
honing skill many way,
modest subjects bubble away,
what seemed work,
no longer shirked,
becomes joy,
recurring toy,
turning labouring writer,
into playful midnight oil skiter.
Writing thirty nine poems,
sitting among garden gnomes,
trying not to foam,
snakes scorpions slithering,
imagination shielding dithering,
incorporating into story,
was mundane now allegory,
previous reader interest slumber,
now rapidly expanding unencumber,
gosh hope don't blunder,
perhaps...

UPBEAT INSPIRATIONAL POEM

EXQUISITE MOMENT
O come along breeze,
move the trees,
rustle leaves,
sway the flowers,
spread their sweet scent for hours,
blow pressure-cooker humidity away,
so i may recover vitality,
resume my play.
I love to frolic,
be bucolic,
rivers creeks brooks,
where i often look,
or read book,
placid in my nook.
Aeolian tease of moving air,
caressing me to care,
seducing me to unleash flair,
dance smile twirl shower energy everywhere.
And then rain came,
first delicate patter,
then deafening clatter,...
move the trees,

SELF POEM

POET " CAM "
I stopped wearing long trousers, long sleeved shirts,
shoes, the day i quit my job,
living on nude beach a year was my plan,
superannuation / long-service / sick leave pay,
would smooth my way,
keeping me comfortable " on the lamb ".
Sun tanned my skin,
guys trekked in,
from local, nearby, interstate, overseas locations,
overtly to see sand dunes, dolphins, whales,
covertly open curious confident males,
enthusiastically established relations.
It was very nice,
some elements of paradise,
with locals it was like...

INTERPLANETARY TRANSITION
MATRIX
Epochal time frame for sun imploding destroying earth is now known.
It is much sooner than previously thought.
Arrangements must begin now for remaining time on earth to adapt, orientate, be ready when leaving for new interplanetary location circumstances.
Those leaving earth must be fit for new lives, adapted to new ways of living.
Plans to get ready for high level co-operation and problem solving in new civilization
incorporate urgency and accelerate development progress.

CAUCASIAN TREE TOTEM
Big solid tree,
fascinating me,
standing at trunk base,
leafy hidden inner space,
wanting to explore,
mysterious secret core,
no chance end sore,
climbing so high,
challenging NASA rocket guy.
Jumping to lowest branch,
climbing vertically advance,
going quick easy like trance,
hands feet body,
making safety connection,
confirming right direction,
suddenly top of tree,
naked with erection.
Lightning shock wind,
branches turning to pin,
throwing tree around,
commanding wild sound, ...

Somebody's diary.
discovered in jumble sale,
tells brief anguish tale,
of girl search for grail,
friendship acceptance love,
intelligent tenderness,
absence of betrayal.
Love of her new friend,
lesbian from beginning to end,
film makers decide to expunge,
marketers say is grunge,
too uncommercial to defend,
advertisers will unfriend,
relationship confounding unread women and men,

like widespread bushfire smolderin',
initially Irish Welsh Scottish English,

AVOIDING POETRY INJURIES
Don't think about writing,
could be frightening,
makes less exciting,
unless nerd,
you'll produce written turd,
obscuring creative urge,
intellectuals may nuance all day,
equating clever play,
too many readers prone say,
producing written dirge anyway.
Writing about roaches on wall,
flowers on table in hall,
can't catch ball,
may be angelically distracting,
writers career counter acting,
poetry microscopic readership,
expand it with accessible written leadership,
bump t.v., movies,...

CATS NAME IS ROYCE
Cats of Australia have made their choice,
except this one name is Royce,
( family gave him no voice ),
in advertising jingles he doesn't exist,
Royce has tendency to resist,
always runs away,
when Andrew Lloyd Webber they play,
( meow ) says Webber stinks all day,
" Cat On Hot Tin Roof " better movie play,
often looking for vitriol to spray.
Visiting military Salisbury Plains away,
seeing Royal Corgis in bay,
thinking he'd play prank, ...
