Perfection
too many doors
too many pathways,
too many options,
you were better off the narrow way,
mind too expanded
you were lookin for a better way,
lookin for a truth you couldnt handle
and these are weathered days,
cloud
sad
depressed
I dunno why so much duress,
I left home moved out west
on my own livin with stress,
wanna dive Under the dress
of the divine and be blessed,
with what?

Racism will be around
Like the line from the dust pan
Swept under the rug
Placing the task on the next man
Still fighting the power
Throwing hands at the system
Continue swingin at an “enemy”
Who’s always duckin and missin’
Where is the target?
I think it’s under our noses
The stench of our own nature
Disguised beautifully by the roses
Maybe we forgot
Who created it all...

Think about the fall...

Ignorance
They say follow your heart right,
into a dark night,
soul loss find the light,
next moment is delight,
but not quite,
got much strife,
in my life and I'm like.....
where's the knife?
The gumption, swag, my confidence is bad
Feelin so low, lost the trust that I had
In myself, in life, In Goddddd
Started to believe it was all facade
Mask off
Eye holes sunken like quicksand
Hourglass mirror, death is approaching
Final countdown, goodbye to the old me
Didnt know whatAllItTook toBecome Free

I guess I forget
What I can’t accept about me
Pointing a finger at you

Fade Off
I'm just...
Sittin at the house
I decide to cut my hair
one hand on the clipper
one hand holdin' the mirror
I'm tryna cut a fade
thought the shit wasn't that serious
till it got to makin' them...(FADE LINES DISAPPEAR)
Had it wide open
even closed all the way
with flick of the wrist
but I dug on occasion...
Damn I didn't mean to
just tryna graze it
gapped my whole head
I was just tryna fade it...

Distance relationships are the worst....
Distance in between
and you sound distant on the phone
Cuz I'm in the woods you see
that's why my signals always LOW
And my wifi, it be trippin'
shit be actin' really slow
Conversations not too long
you think I'm always in the wrong
All them late nights talkin' feelings
all I wanna do is bone
It be like 3 up in the morn, I'm tryna lay up off that porn
you repeat yourself the whole time
Buffer, reconnect, and disconnect
when we DO FaceTime
I see it your face
Cuz...
