Ode to the salty Tear
O' Salty tear, a mere clear drop you are
You've emerged for a million different reasons
many of which only the shedder knows
for you've emerged in all seasons.
The season of sadness or reason of joy
The tears of grief and the tears of joy
You and your unalloyed saline taste
Thou art' but an emotional waste.
O' Salty tear each time you drop into oblivion
why not vanish away with your shedder's grief?
I tell you O' tear if you take my opinion
oughtn't you grant your shedder full relief?

The rain and reign of terror!
The year ends on saddest notes
of crying, dying babies in Palestine
and obstructed efforts
to throw them a lifeline
They ought to have long halted this ethnic cleansing
of the indigenous inhabitants
Stop the cruel bombardment
of their poor apartments
I'm not just griping for nothing,
the scenario is too bloodied
and gripping for sure,
Doctors go wiping off blood
as babies are rushed
dripping with gore
to hospitals tripping
with casualties galore
All humane hearts with any humanity ...

Stop the warmongers and aggressors
( A poem I wrote in earlier months when muslims were being killed in Palestine, Syria, Iraq, but it still applies in recent refreshed genocide of muslims. )
Wars round the corner,
wars at every bend
Could it be that all this warring
would never ever end?
Mass massacre and genocide
is what we fear and apprehend
Selfish apartheid oppressing poor folks
On suppressing others they depend!
Why can't folks borrow love
and peace too learn to lend? ...

Incredible India: My motherland
Ah, to this land of the monsoons
or should it have been the sunsoons?
Yet for frozen land tourists,
a tropical hot boon.
Where bullock carts, stray dogs,
horse carriages, goats and cows
pedestrians, , bikes and rickshaws
scooters, trucks, motorbikes and cabs
all compete together in quirky
medley of traffic jams
On crammed roads you could
ram into bulls and rams
So brakes forever screeching,
the cars forever honking, hooting
while beggers begged and pickpockets
could go a' looting on a footing ...

Nature's Beauty Pageant

Nature held a Beauty Pageant
Guess who was crowned the crest
A flowering green plateau was the rostrum and stage
Watch who won the contest.
The peacock from India was crowned beauty king, prince Charming
The bird of paradise from New Guinea, was beauty queen
And last but not least in glamour
upon the catwalk the Bengal tiger
he was what I shall call the runner up.
but what care they for beauty, crown or cup?
All they want is to chow and sup.
Only Nature lovers applauded

water's life and feels alive
Waves on the rocks a' crashing
In it human feet go splashing
And elsewhere in the swollen river
'gator tails go thrashing
Water may be stagnant
or it may be thus moving
Sometimes softly dripping
at times forcefully gushing
In brooks babbling
In streams gurgling
In springs bubbling
In rivers running
From faucets freely flowing
or from pipes coercingly spurting
At times noisily sloshing
But in lakes musically rippling
In it diving and wading
In it refreshing bathing
Or...

A bevy of invisible houris 🍁
🍁🍁🍁and imaginary fairies,
cavorted about as elfin brides
under a saffron maple tree🍁🍁🍁
Dressed in prism-hued layers
of chiffon in ethereal shimmers🍁
🍁and delicate silken gossamers
They having their group wedding in the fall
And fairy folk bustled about all around 🍁
as flimsy and flighty as they could be
while bronze leaves fell upon the brides🍁 ...

The better Gems
What's better than gold?
A heart of gold and any golden rule
Thus do not over the mined thing drool.
What's better than pearls?
Any shining pearls of wisdom
grant the oyster respite's freedom!
What's better than diamonds
Heavenly supernovas
and stars that dazzle like them
So don't you fret if you can't afford
the earthly underground gem.
What's better than rubies?
Crimson roses and rosy lips
I do and maybe you too already have them!
