POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Poetry is the most soothing language a man can speak in. I am here only to talk with the world.
A Windy Tale
He comes and goes
No one knows,
Some say he comes from north
where the monks are chanting their prayers,
In top of the snow capped hills.
Some say he comes from south
where he swims in the oceans of pride,
Of its unknown bounds.
He brings with him the soothing bliss
after the scorching heat,
Raining the blessings of heaven on our wretched souls,
Reflecting the seven colours of love on our shoulders.
Urging us to carry on the dreams of the
congenial and gregarious souls,
Envisages that the world of pleibian

Nocturnal Rhapsody
She woke up in the midnight blues
And then went to the roof upstairs.
To look at the endless realms
of the stars shining above.
She gasped at the chastity of the night
When all the world is asleep,
Glancing at the mystic lake,
Where the angels without wings lived.
Chills of shiver rained down her spine
As she heard the fading music
of the bird that never sleeps.
The soothing breeze calmed her heart,
Freeing her from all anxieties and pains.
She could see the forests of unknown woods
as she smelt the breeze.

Little Hopes
A little bit of pain,
A little bit of hurt,
A little bit of curse,
A little bit of broken hearts,
Doesn't matter at all
If you keep on forgiving till the end !
Some sores dont heal easy
And trials of emotion, really hurts,
Our heart quivers
At thoughts of heinous mistrusts.
Still sun rises everyday
Fading away the darkest clouds
Rendering hope in all.
Few dreams always break away
And whispers of love sometimes ceases forever,
Darkness eats everything around us
And lost ones, like razor cuts
And though we cry, and...

The Godplayer
He went out of his house
In the darkness of the night,
With a rod in his hand;
He is not telling anyone the reason
But I know he is out to kill....
A poor homeless kid, with timid eyes
Was shivering on the streets alone,
When he saw a man in black coat
Approaching towards him slow.
He didnt know, he is coming to set him free,
And before he could raise his voice,
His eyes and nose went red because
a poker had struck his face.
And the man started sprinting towards the
end of the road,

Nature's Call
The bristling rain splashed down the sky,
Falling on the tip of my pen,
The gates of heaven widened up,
A violet cream splattered across the sky,
A rumbling chariot rattled down
from the heaven to the ground.
The storm vociferously blew with ecstasy on
the face of the man.
Again and again,Nature has made man
to bow in front of her,
Leaving him dazzled with her beauty and wrath.
The torrent dashed and shattered the huts of man,
Reminding him how immaterial- material can be !

The Nazi Soldier
Beware o man,run, and beware,
For here comes a Nazi soldier!
So people ran helter skelter in the darkest hour of the night,
Frightened out of their wits
They wanted to live alongwith their kids.
But the soldier neither quivered nor did he want to kill,
Of all that he desired, he desired to live.
The alarm cried out and
The heavy marching of the troops rambled
the ground below.
The search lights glared brightly on his face,
He had to cover his face, with his fingers upon
his eyes.

A Midnight Fair
I am full of joy and glee
For I am going to a fair.
Hey wait,dont tell my parents,
Its a midnight affair.
So when the clock struck twelve
I tip-toed out of the doors.
Dad was reading papers,
And mom was doing her chores.
I woke up Mr.Mouse,
Who was sleeping on the barn,
I jumped on his back
And together, we did, across the fields run.
We reached the glittering town
Called the DONKEY'S SMART BRAIN !!
It was here where the fair was held
And we bought the tickets for free!
We were awestruck when we went in

A Cold Night
I can live through this night
When the world is asleep.
There was a time when i was busy now,
You were moaning and murmuring in my ears
The holiest words of the soul of the world.
And I took you up in my arms not realising the morning was drawing near,
I didnt bring the curtains down,to prevent the light from coming in,
O our sweet darkness!!
For I was sure that our blanket would keep away all the glares far.
But the dawn had arrived much before,
And the bright light blinded your eyes.
You were so blind- you failed to look
that my hands...

Crazy Song
East rises in the sun,
West sets in the sun,
Hey wait! We are not songing a sing!
We are just having fun.
The sky is shining in the star,
And hills are flowing down the river.
The leaves are blue and sky is green,
We want winter and not spring.
If you are holy you go to jail
And if bad you can hear ringing of bells.
The shores are now washing the waves,
And bears and lions are the homes of the caves.
Hills are low and plains are high,
Monsoon is just very very dry.
Bieber is the best and McCartney sucks!
The dunces are...

A Miscellaneous Poem
I want to write a poem now,
But nothing is coming to my head.
What will I write about?
Will it be a poem of love,or
will it be about rivers flowing down the hills?
Will it be about blood and agony of human beings?
Or will it savour the needs of spirituality?
Will it be a song on how angels won the war?
Or will it be profound on devil's conquers?
Will I sing praises of the men who wrote the history of the earth?
Or will I ambush at the inglorious works?
Will I write of the poisons that run through the veins of my soul?
Or will it be so dark that...

The Mystic Woods
Travelling through the shadowy woods
I was on my way to home.
When the darkness suddenly engulfed around me;
And I thought there was no way out.
I looked up to the sky but couldnt see a thing.
The sunshine bade me adieu through the canopy of the long woods.
So I sat down, bereaved, under the boughs of the trees,
The cold north wind blew on my face and quivered me to the bones.
I could hear the shrill cries of broken hearts, lost hopes and betrayals ringing in my ears.
The woods once rendered homes to the blue and yellow birds,
Who...
