Here I go again, this is so familiar…
How’d I get myself, all the way back here
Don’t recognise the man in the mirror
I'm sure I promised you, this part of me was over.
Once again I’m running, from what I should be holding
I’m always making, the same mistakes...not learning
You’re so amazing, coz you just keep forgiving.
I can’t believe it, that what I’ve been looking for,
Was right here in front of me, everything I need and more!
You stood beside me, through pain you were my healing,
Let me make it right babe, lemme stop that heart from bleeding...

Have we met
I love the scent of ur perfume,
the way u light up a room.
It's how your hair almost covers your face,
that sends my pulse and heart into a race.
And there's somthing in your walk,
that makes me stutter when I talk.
But all this gets me so upset...coz I haven't even met you yet.
I seen u in my dreams on so many nights,
even felt ur presence in so many ways.
Like we could have passed each other in the midst of the city lights...
am I going crazy or is this just a phase?
Nah,its written in the stars our stage is set.
Too bad you haven't met...

Regeneration of a Nation
Why are we filled with so much anger and fueled by hate. We're scared of being the outkast, yet we all share a common fate. The future looks grimm cz today is build on past tragedies nobody want's to face. Can't sleep cz I have nightmares of a society morally disgraced.
Why are we filled with so much rage, fueling the violence in the air. Our children are bred with ruthlessness, plagued by disrespect and robbed any self worth all cause nobody really cares. My generation had the greatest heroes, the most inspiring role-models but we've become the worst teachers. Victory has defeated...

I have more convictions than courage,more problems than solutions. Inside my head theres a marriage, of blissful beginings n cold conclusions. My dream of God's hands...
There are so many things that I've lost n found. And though I barely remember every touch, sight or sound...I know for sure You were always around, b'coz it was Your love that got me off the ground.
You were there every time I almost gave in to the pressure, you heard my prayers while in the emergency room laying on a stretcher. You got me through the days I was dead broke and again when I was a little richer. You showed me hardship and pain so I could appreciate pleasure.
Forgive me Lord, I don't know how to pray without sounding like I'm complaining. I don't know how to...

Dealing with this Feeling
I wake up every day feeling optimistic, but as the day progresses I get more realistic! Trying to deal with pain and pleasure separately, can't seperate the two so instead I'm hanging on desperately!
Its been 21 years but it still feels like last night, that dad got shot and he stepped into the light! Watched as my daddy died but didn't look into his casket, I'm still haunted by it daily like I can't get past it!
No-one will ever understand how I'm dealing with this feeling, searching for an answer and looking for a meaning! Still looking for a road that can lead me to healing. No-one...

I don't get it
I don't get this love thing, in fact does anyone?
How can something that complicated be meant for everyone!?
I mean..."if you love 'em, let them go"...really?
Why would I let you go if love is to keep you near me?
I used to think, until I stopped beacause it gave me bad ideas.
Anyway, I used to think we all had soul-mates.
Imagine that, having someone who was made just for you,
a "perfect for me" soul that I could come home too.
It's a rare thing to find someone you can annoy for the rest of your life,

Mirror Mirror
I can't get your voice out of my head, I try to remember everything u sed. With you there's no disguise, no hiding and no lies. Talking to you makes things clearer. I wana be just like the man in the mirror.
When I suffer, you feel my pain. When I'm happy, you feel the same. You're always there when I need someone to talk too, when days are dark and friends are few. You point me in the right direction, I wish I could be more like my reflection.
But you're not perfect I see you're flaw. Half the time even you're not sure. Tell me what you're crying for, you're pain aint...
