Woe to the Seas and Oceans
Long ago and far away, I rose from the sea
swam ashore wanting nothing more
than to see what I could see.
I floated near as I could to the shore
inhaling the earth's toxic air
then return to the ocean floor
fulfilling the mermaid's dare.
Humans dump their waste in the ocean
it's a cruel thing they do, I abhor
the way they have no sense of emotion
to protect Earth's waters on seabed's floor.
swam ashore wanting nothing more
than to see what I could see.
I floated near as I could to the shore
inhaling the earth's toxic air
then return to the ocean floor
fulfilling the mermaid's dare.
Humans dump their waste in the ocean
it's a cruel thing they do, I abhor
the way they have no sense of emotion
to protect Earth's waters on seabed's floor.

His Touch
Purloined kisses were stolen
the night I felt his urgent touch
Passion lingered on pursed lips
leaving me wanting and yearning
The cure is to be kissed
in the way I had long craved
the night I felt his urgent touch
Passion lingered on pursed lips
leaving me wanting and yearning
The cure is to be kissed
in the way I had long craved
