I am new to the enjoyment and writing of poetry. In public school and high-school, I didn’t appreciate poetry and frankly didn’t understand it. Now I can’t seem to stop writing, reading, experiencing and enjoying poetry.

Hint of spring
Winter has finally broken
like fever chills
Moisture returning to the air
No longer crisp dry
cracking skin
drying nostrils
A faint warmth
brushing cheeks
Purple tinged buds
not yet breaking
swelling with promise

The weight of the air
Refreshing cool
Calming,
Like a blanket
Busy sounds of the early morning city,

Sunset over Lake Huron
Huron shores
West towards the sunset
Night after night
We watched
Some nights
Colours masked by heavy clouds
Other nights are spectacular
Every night a little different.
You can’t expect a sunset to look a particular way
You can’t control it
shape it.
Just take the time to enjoy it as it is.
Each one has its own beauty
if you’re willing to experience it

May you rest in peace.
We wish you well,
Our good friend

It ended democratically
By the choice of the people
Salute

democracy
It was fun while it lasted.
A choice was presented
authoritarianism
willingness to suspend
the constitution
to maintain power
willingness to use ...

Devout Christian
Two irreconcilable concepts
The Ten Commandments should be familiar
Right?
A central tenant of your religion
How many commandments
Has trump violated?
This shall not commit adultery
Ask his wives
Ask Miss Danielles
Some affairs were very public
Do you really think that was all of them?
You know,
Once a cheater,
Always a cheater
Thou shall not steal
Talk to his investors
The people he cheated...
