POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I am primarily an erotic poet, but I write in other genres as well. I am very interested in the power of sex, and how it can overturn all of our sensibilities and better judgements in a second.
Accident
Can time stand still? For a moment
Can it stop its usual slopping and splashing
And be calm?
I think it did, once. I barely noticed, I was hurting so much
From the accident. But
I remember a free feeling, isolated,my chains
All unlocked, as time stopped its furious movements.
Did you notice? When my eyes opened slightly wider
And my breathing slowed? Did you think
Perhaps time has snagged on the corners of what has happened?
And just
Stopped?
Can it stop its usual slopping and splashing
And be calm?
I think it did, once. I barely noticed, I was hurting so much
From the accident. But
I remember a free feeling, isolated,my chains
All unlocked, as time stopped its furious movements.
Did you notice? When my eyes opened slightly wider

My Big Brother (High Street)
We were on High Street. More arrests.
We read their names in the papers,
Read the charges. I knew he was frightened
My big brother. He'd already cleared out his room
Gotten rid of anything suspicious. Stopped meeting
Certain friends, stayed clear of certain places.
They shouldn't have had a thing.
Then, on High Street, his eyes widened.
He'd seen them. If you go without a fuss, he'd told me
They don't hurt you as much. They were closer.
He seized my hand andheld it tight. I was scared.
I loved my big brother.
They said a few words,...

In The Back Seat Of My Car
The night hid the car in darkness.
But all was light between us as she straddled me
In the backseat of my car. Her beautiful lips
The softness of her cheeks, warm loving eyes
She hasn’t even kissed me yet, and I’m already bursting
Out of my jeans.
Her tongue slips into my mouth. I slowly unbutton her shirt
So I can feel her hard little nipples,
Can roll them between finger and thumb
To make her sigh in satisfaction. Her hand rests on my chest
Which she proceeds to caress with her kisses, each one
Shot through with the moist excitement of her...

You’re standing close. I can feel you behind me.
You’ve hurt me and I’ve hurt you
But that doesn’t change
What’s happening.
All it takes is your arms, wrapped tight around me
Warm, firm. I’m shaking a little, and you go
For my sensitive spots, my throat, my shoulders. Your tongue
Excites me. Time is still,
Expectant. Your touch
Is everything.
It doesn’t matter the bed is too small. You fill me.
Hard, slow. I can’t believe you feel so good.
Please, don’t stop. A sensation
Without words. Only my moans, my gasps
Can describe it....
You’ve hurt me and I’ve hurt you
But that doesn’t change

In Adoration
He loves her arm beneath the elbow.
Smooth cream skin, glowing with life
The blue tracery of veins dipping from the wrist
Into the lake of skin, as if diving
Before vanishing.
The morningsher armlies on his pillow
In its living, breathing glory
Are wonderful. There
He can look at it, maybe gently rest
His fluttering fingertips on its alabaster surface.
Sometimes he dreams he is an explorer,
Walking across the desert of her arm
Drinking from those blue veins
Finding shelter in the crevices of her palms.

First Love
His lips are soft, and every so often
I catch the wetness of his tongue. My first boyfriend.
We’ve kissed, and touched, a little.
But my mind is made up. I want it to be him.
I place his hand underneath my shirt. I don’t stop him
When he takes my shirt off. I let him unbutton me
And feel his fingers touch me between my legs
For the first time.
My breath catches in my throat. I’m trembling. His kisses are gentle
He moves slowly, his tongue softly caressing my nipple
Sending thrills of pleasure across my body. My heart beats faster

Ophelia Drown'd
He finds her. Death like, she stares
As if from beneath water. Weeds drift
Across her pallid cheek, once so warm.
Her body does not seem real as the water blurs
What it has taken from the land of the living.
The moment is still. He does not feel
Sick yet. She lies so quiet, he can almost fool himself
That she is merely sleeping, but for the pond weed
And the flowers, floating lifeless
On the surface above her.
As if from beneath water. Weeds drift
Across her pallid cheek, once so warm.
Her body does not seem real as the water blurs
What it has taken from the land of the living.

And the flowers, floating lifeless
On the surface above her.

Lovers
I was in bed, not quite asleep. She softly unlocked the door
Took her shoes off, and quietly slipped in beside me.I could feel her warmth, her breath,
Her life, all wrapped safely in my arms
As we fell asleep together.
She was my first thought when I awoke.
Still asleep, so soft, and comforting
Just to have her there with me. I placed my hand
On the curve of her waist, and gently kissed her exposed shoulder.
I felt her smile, she rolled onto her back
Her eyes alive and full of love, her mouth
When I kiss her, both promise and faith.
I love her....
