I'm sorry
"I'm sorry"
For making you cry
I know this apology
Won't put the smile back in your eyes
I know my words sound empty
Just a hollow reply
To the pain that I caused you
And no matter how hard I try
"I'm sorry"
Doesn't cut it
It Doesn't fly
There is no rhyme or reason
To justify the reasons "why"
I hurt you
Why I made you cry
"I'm sorry"
Sounds just like another gimmick
Just another lie
Yet I'll continue to say
"I'm sorry"
As you reply
With "Goodbye"...
For making you cry
I know this apology

Wait!
Turn around look at me
Look deep in my eyes
Tell me what you see
Walk past the hurt I feel right now
To the most inner parts of me
There!
Yes!
Right there
Look at it!
That right there is the love I have for you
This heart beats for you
You are the reason it lives again
And if you go
You take with you every reason
So wait!
I don't care what anyone thinks
You know me!
You have held me!
Kissed me!
Made love to me!
For the love of God just wait!
I have never been one to beg
But
Today
I say...

When life seems much to tough

Like no other woman can

Remember what brought you here?
To my house of pain
You were seeking shelter
From the world and it's rain
Remember why you found me?
You were lost
Seeking guidance
Every step brought you to my door
You were fleeing from pain
But from me you begged for more
Remember how it felt?

The magic in just one finger
Made your heart melt
