why is it i'm so happy
so very happy
when i talk to you
or see your smiling face

i try to hide a part of me
that is hard to explain
a part of me not welcome
or ever wanted

i try to show whats
on my mind but its hard
i close my eyes and think
but its still really hard

i think of you and smile
i think of them and cry
and i dont understand why
why i feel the way i do
